  1. Exactly. He has the things you can't coach. Light on his feet, quick feet, etc. what he needs is a good weight training and conditioning year. He's soft and needs to muscle up... He could be really really good if he had some time to reshape.
  2. Here's what I think it means... We know Kalu showed he was a pretty good corner by the end of the year, but Chris Jones still showed inconsistency and got beat by some guys. I think what this means is there's a good chance we could see Jackson start opposite Kalu after the first few games if not before. To me our starting backfield is Gerry, A Williams, Kalu, Jackson... With Reed subbing in at safety and Jones subbing in at corner. That's a heck of a backfield if we stay healthy and don't lose some of those guys to injury.
  3. Is that a commitment?? It's a commitment to wearing a kick ass shirt. No commitment. Just missing out this weekend and riling up the fans. He just posted about how he had been thinking about bama right before that lol.
  4. Maybe a plan B in case Miles goes elsewhere If you watch his film he's actually pretty agile and moves well. I'll take a heavy RB w/speed and good feet any day. This kid has all the tools you want, he's just carrying bad weight and need a RS year for strength and conditioning to reshape his body. He's a soft 245 not a firm one. You put him next to Nathan Tilford and it's like Jelly and rock.
  5. He hasn't visited us yet, so this is not in our favor. Haven't heard much about him since spring... We might have cooled on him.
  6. I think it's becoming more clear his top 3 are UCLA, Nebraska, Ohio St. And I would put them in that order at this point. He doesn't seem to mention others or retweet much from others.
  7. Here's my deal with Lindsay... If he's so high on Ohio state, why is he not going back this summer to camp? Why is he not tweeting their coach all the time and why is he coming to our calabasas camp and our FNL event? Why spend all this time with this other school if you think you're going to Ohio state? Why not learn from their coaches?
  8. We will have two 5-stars, seven 4-stars, and five 3-stars on campus plus a couple of 2019 guys that will be highly rated.
  9. Which players are attending next weekend? Sorry if I missed it posted somewhere. Lewis, Lindsey, KJJ, McQuitty are a few. Thanks! June 24th Camp/BRW attendees: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WR Joseph Lewis ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WR Tyjon Lindsey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WR Keyshawn Johnson Jr ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WR Jamire Calvin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WR Jaevon Mcquitty ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2018 DT Trevor Trout ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ATH/RB Nathan Tilford ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ QB Tristan Gebbia ⭐️⭐️⭐️ TE Reese Leitao ⭐️⭐️⭐️ DE Anthony Payne (has Mich offer) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ DE Robert Porcher IV ⭐️⭐️⭐️ FB Jamari Peacock 2019 WR Cam Coleman This is the full list of ranked players that I know of as of today. Camp is open to the public Friday from 6-9pm. Take your friends, family, calibraska banners, and go ask for the big time guys autographs... Impress them with your kindness.
  10. With the right diet and strength/conditioning he could easily be a 600lb squat kind of guy. Has that Vincent Valentine body. Just needs a lot of coaching, repetition, and a good nutrition and strength coach.

  12. All of last year Hughes couldn't get any DT's to visit. Parella already has 2 commits (1 2017 and 1 2018) and the season hasn't even started yet. Plus he's already getting 2018 guys like Calvin Avery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & Trevor Trout ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on campus with us at the top of their favorites list and their Junior season's haven't even started yet.
  13. Good news is he will now be 10hrs from Lincoln instead of 21hrs. And amore convenient 1 1/2hr plane ride. And one of our GA's dad's is his trainer.
  14. When I saw him beating a lot of 4 star db's at the 5 star challenge and running like he did, his speed is no longer a concern. He's very impressive. Clearly has been underrated. My opinion is the reason Rivals is the only service that has him as a 4 star is because he hasn't gone to the other services camps.
  15. Bando is a good prospect. But he's not a freshman contributor like Gates. He will need a couple years to gain strength and work on his technique. What I love about these offensive linemen is Cav is going after really smart guys. Sichterman is a Computer Science major for goodness sake. Smart guys are what we need on the oline.
  16. I believe we have 1 more and they are looking for a highly skilled tackle
  17. He was suppose to visit for BRW on the 11th. And now I'm reading he didn't visit and we aren't in his top 3?
  18. He has a Tim Tebow personality. Leader, motivator, passionate, and a personality that lights up the room.
  19. Can they not just move 15-20min away and use another high school's field for the day? You'd think a school in the district would open up for this with the situation at hand.
  20. Nebraska Oregon will bring higher tv ratings. USC doesn't have as much attention or publicity right now as they did 5-6 years ago, and Stanford doesn't have the alumni base or wide spectrum of fan support to bring in the TV ratings. I really think Oregon/NU will have a higher viewing audience, thus higher tv ratings.
  21. He said he's being recruited as a LB because he refuses to play DE. He thinks he's fast enough and good enough to play LB at an elite level despite his DE size.
  22. It explains why they want 12-15 LBers on the team and why they are targeting the thick/heavy run stopping Tackles.
  23. Bush has all the tools to be a starter for us in 2017 if he can put it all together. He has great vision when running, lateral juking ability to make guys miss, awesome arm strength, the height to see the field and the big body to take a pounding, and he seems to be learning a lot about pro offense. I really think he is developing nicely and with another year could be right in the thick of things for the battle. I'm pumped for 2017 because we will have Lee, Bush, O'Brien, and Gebbia all battling it out to start. Can you imagine next year's spring game where we get to see Lee, O'Brien, and Gebbia all really for the first time. (Most of us didn't see Patrick's limited play in the spring game and it was so limited with 3rd string I don't count it). That is a heck of a competition because all 4 could start somewhere. Lee already started 2 years at Tulane. Bush has been growing quickly and I've seen dramatic improvement in a short amount of time, and the young guys were top 10 pro style QB recruits!
