  1. Coming in on O street is definitely a better view of the Haymarket, you can really get a sense of how much the area has changed. Like Knap said it's not really that outstanding from 180, it's noticeable though. The stadium just looks more filled in now, unless you are on Vine street then it just looks huge! (ocq your welcome)
  2. Rewatching the bowl game today, Man that was an epic first quarter! so many momentum swings for both teams.

  3. And a bit of change > Oh get over yourself, your best year is still ahead of you. At least you're not measuring your age in terms of a century yet! Happy Birthday kiddo!
  4. Not sure if this conversation can continue outside the shed
  5. Quaff, I knew. Queef I learned from your post. And I hope never to experience. lol You never knew the word queef? What have you been doing with your life? I lead a sheltered life. I'm more impressed that you've never had experience with one, you must be a true gentleman.
  6. Quaff, I knew. Queef I learned from your post. And I hope never to experience. lol It happens.
  7. Drunk History reminds me of almost every drunk conversation ever. They always devolve in to politics, religion, and history mixed with vomit. But it was actually sort of funny this week.

Not sure what Drunk History is, But I sorta remember Drunk Night putting..looking for a cup on the green to barf in...and grasping the tiny blades of grass surrounding the cup wondering how they were going to keep me from falling off the face of the earth...

My claim to fame. Five years at UNL. Hundreds of drunken parties . Never barfed once. I should be in a hall of fame someplace. Seriously.

First time I puked was my 21st and I did it many, many times. In a bathroom, a bucket, my bed pretty much every where. Did it so much my abs hurt for 2 days.

Drunk History is a show on Comedy Central 37.

  8. I have family in town from overseas and I'm the cook, so I don't have time for pictures during the week. This weekend. It'll be worth the wait!
  9. And the N's have been put up on the arena. Where you at Knap? http://journalstar.c...c4a7575e.html#2
  10. Actually I believe it is Hiro 88. Here's an article on some of the newer businesses coming in. And one has a some Husker backing. http://journalstar.c...b1dd2fc190.html
  11. Well if the tweeter was using the word properly it makes this tweet even more kink... I mean interesting.
  12. It'll probably be close. Won't be many restaurant though.. I heard on the radio today that two of the first businesses in the area have applied for liquor licenses. One is a Sushi/Asian cuisine place that has a few restaurants in Omaha, the name escapes me, I didn't pay enough attention to the other. Gross!
  13. what are you talking about? Too much Ncaa football probably. You are probably right about playing too much NCAA football. My only guilty pleasure any more. Regardless, I assumed from the picture that would be the N's final resting place. I guessed that the only reason it would be that off center was for a trademark tag. If they are not done placing it then I jumped the gun. My bad. I just meant that in real life I don't think anyone puts a trademark next to their logo on the field, the only place I've ever seen it done is in video games. I'm sure it'll be centered up nice and proper.

  15. Considering world class sprinters top out at anywhere from 27-30 mph, the fact that that's all they train for, and that Taylor is on turf with gear on not a track with track shoes, I'd say his 20mph is a pretty impressive top speed. But again that's not a comparison to another football player. After a short search the closes I could find for you is that Taylor (20.5mph) is slower than Michael Vick (21.63mph) and Adrian Peterson (21.60mph). And btw it does give the other players speed you just have to do a little math, the guy chasing Martinez is running roughly 18.5mph.
  16. Crouch's fumble's per attempts career number is actually worse than Taylor's, for the record. Now that's something truey interesting right there.
  17. How many times a game you break a long run has about as much to do with being fast as it does with how many times you're asked to run, and like you said we ran a lot more when Crouch was under center so I don't think that's really a valid argument. I'm not really going to argue with your previous post, I'll just say I strongly disagree with it and you probably won't find too many people that think Taylor takes too long to get going.
  18. Nebraska day all day today on BTN!
