I don't think the offense is going to be a mirror image of MR at OSU, because our talent doesn't fit that IMO. I think jones fits the type of offense that our current roster calls for. But that is obviously complete speculation on my part and you could very well be spot on with your thoughts. He's an intriguing athlete though. But who MR recruits for his first QB will be a very good indicator of the identity of the offense that he pictures going foreword. That's why I think the immediate offer of Burrow was telling, and we haven't been in touch with Jones. They tried really hard for Burrow

Why? Jones is a project as a passer. Doesn't fit what MR is looking for IMO. I think there's a reason he hasn't been contacted yet. He's hoping we recruit him, we would have if we wanted to. I think most of you just want the stars and the ratings bump, don't think he fits. There's a reason we offered Burrow first.

Just got off the phone with one of my sources. For his safety I can not give you his name, but I can tell you that he is VERY close to the program, actually I'll go ahead and say he's a coach on the staff. We all know Bo is a trickster, well I've been told he is pulling the biggest prank yet, and Shawn is in on it. They thought it would be funny to give the fans what they want and "fire" Pelini to get everyone stirred up. A couple recruits would "decommit" to make it look real and the entire state of NE would be in chaos. Right now the university is sitting back laughing at all the rumors, I've even been told they have hired guys like Tressel to fly into Lincoln and shop at HY Vee, so fans would see him and start rumors. It's f'ing pathetic that the university is having a laugh at our expense!!! Im told that they won't announce anything and leave us in suspense for the next month only to run Bo out on the field just before game time for the bowl game and shock everyone (he also said that Bo will be wearing a shirt that says #9winsisgoodenough, but I have a hard time believing that) The players have no idea and they thought this would be a good time to "weed out" players that weren't committed to the program. Take it FWIW, like I said it come from a coach on the staff (I will NOT say his name so don't ask)

A&M fired their DC yesterday and Sumlin and Bo are buds. Only question would Bo want to jump back in that quick.

JT Barrett suffered a sprained mcl last week during the Penn State game. He looked just fine last night. Depends on the level of severity for Ameer, but from everything that has come out it was not that bad and he was asking to come back in.
