Quite confused on this one.

Gonna be very hard with next year and 2021 schedule. Next year we get a healthy Purdue team who has beaten us two years in a row to start the season, Central Michigan who is most likely going to be the MAC champion after this weekend, a pretty damn decent South Dakota State team, a Cincy team who is going to be ranked and consistent under Fickell, Northwestern who we always struggle against, an Illini team who is trending up, Rutgers who just hired Schiano back and who will most likely sign some solid recruits this class, and THEN the gauntlet starts against 5 teams we have went a combined 13-24 against since joining the BIG 10. 3 of those we have not beaten since Pelini was here.

They think he was processed to make room for Arian Smith.

I doubt he get's one with them going all out for Webb.

Seriously what the hell is going on with this program.

The defense is losing the entire starting line, the best CB, and the motivational leader. How can you say they will improve? I don’t see it at all. The offensive woes fall on our lack of WR depth, our QB regression, and our inconsistent flow of plays. Walters has not developed one good WR since he has been here. He was gifted with Stanley, JD, and a recruit in Wan’dale who would thrive at every school in the country (also one he wasn’t the lead recruiter in). I don’t see that improving next year at all. Betts isn’t a slam dunk because of grades and Manning still is not a commit yet people treat him as such. So again I do not see how you can say the offense will improve when no one has stepped up in 2 years that wasn’t already here as a WR. LB depth and play will be worse next year as well. Lack of depth and experience is going to show real quick. From whom?

No coach is going to be given 7 years if next year is equal to our worse than this. That is the reality of college football today. Excuses are gone going into next year. Recruits that we all want won’t come to a losing program, that is a fact. Frost an inherited a sinking ship, I will admit that, but thus far he is patching those holes with paper towels and the water is creeping in. Through two seasons he is the worst coach to have coached at Nebraska and I don’t see any chances of improvement with what we have, what we will lose, and the schedules we have coming up. Also I don’t think people expected him to have a year two miracle like he did at UCF, but people did expect competence. We don’t look like we have progressed a single bit since Riley left except we talk more.

I don’t know how you can say he hasn’t. He came in and crapped all over the previous staff, which everyone loved, and has yet to put up better results. You can say culture and buy in all you want, but this years schedule was a joke and he failed to get to a bowl. Our “star” qb has regressed to the point that people want our back up in, he mismanaged redshirts very poorly this year, his recruiting has taken a steep nosedive where we are now relying on low ranked Juco products who in their own words are saving a spot with us, our special teams is the worst I have ever seen, OLB play and recruiting is abysmal, ILB recruiting and play is abysmal. There has been no progress for this team since Riley left and Frost entered except they have the best Monday practices in the history of college football.

Agreed. People need to take the Golden Boy blinders off. There are little to no positives from the day this staff took over to now.

To be fair, if Frost wasn’t a Nebraska legend and had 3 losing seasons in a row, every person on the board would want him gone.
