  1. What I find most interesting about our line next year is the height, we have to be one of the tallest in the country. Crick and Steinkuhler are both 6'6", Allen is 6'5", Ankrah is 6'4", and Moore is one of the "short" guys at 6'3". I think this should be a nightmare for the shorter quarterbacks to throw against us. I'll be expecting a lot of pass deflections next season by these guys.
  2. I worked at a daycare for 3 years. We did clean A LOT and sterilized almost everything everyday, even several times a day. But kids spreading germs to each other is unavoidable. It seemed that the kids under age 2 got sick the most, probably because of their weaker immune systems. I don't recommend anyone putting kids younger than that in daycare, but I know it's not a choice for parents 99% of the time. Even I got sick more than usual working there. I'm not sure there's much you can do, besides making sure the daycare is doing their job of cleaning and keeping kids from chewing on the same toys.
  3. My guess is that they will alternate series, and it will be about a 50-50 split like others have suggested. Burkhead is too talented to leave off the field for much longer than that. I look forward to a fair portion of his carries coming from the wildcat.
  4. If I were Adi, I would want the redshirt. I think he will go pro either way, but his stock would be much higher if he proved he could kick field goals too. Even if he has a bad year of field goal kicking, he still a huge weapon on kickoffs and is a proven threat. It would be a win/win for him if he redshirted, and I doubt the coaches would mind too much. After all, we still have the best kicker in the country next season anyway.
  5. I agree that #7 is a little high, but I think Bo will do a good job of not letting the hype get to the player's heads. I can see why people would put us there, but I'm not yet convinced the offense will be suddenly successful just because we are returning 10 starters. The Holiday Bowl looked promising though.
  6. Oh ok it makes a lot more sense now. thanks for clearing that up.
  7. He lost me when he tried to justify Colt McCoy for Heisman. I was willing to put up with his poorly researched articles up to that point, but his Heisman vote made literally no sense. It will be nice to get a new voice on ESPN, hopefully one a little better
  8. ...why would he have a breakout year when we are adding even more depth, talent, and experience at RB? Unless you're implying that he will do well on special teams, but that doesn't really count as a 'breakout year'. I guess we have some really optimistic people here on Huskerboard...
  9. Welcome! I am also a rookie. BTW, what the heck is this? --->- I LOVE IT.
  10. MY FIRST POST! I agree about Helu being too injury prone, but if he can stay healthy he has the skills to have a great senior year...especially if he stays fresh by splitting reps with Burkhead.
