very true. all the focus is on Texas Texas Texas but as we saw with the ISU game last year, take no game for granted. Frankly I'm more worried about a conference upset at the hands of KU, KSU, A&M, lil' OSU. Heck, even Colorado (i'm still scarred by the 1990s games where they would suck all season but play us to a death match). Oh, and I will also be looking at every seemingly bad call by the refs with a conspiratorial eye. What about all of the bad calls from the past.

So would he have had a verbal offer and the coaches were waiting till camp to give him a written offer, but since they weren't real impressed at the camp, they said that they wouldn't give him a written offer. Could that be a possibility?

I remember the KU game, it was on my birthday and my parents and I went out to eat. It was like 24-7 or something when we went in and when we got back out to the car, they were in overtime. I was like really we were dominating them, and we went to OT. Of course that was a typical Callahan game, do well in the first half and completely fall apart in the second.

How is it he can't be here in August but can be here this January? I thought once you went JUCO you had to finish your degree? I was told that it will be a situation kind of like Antonio Bell was in 2008. I am not sure what all the details were with that situation, so I cant really comment further. I suppose I forgot that Bell took a round about way getting here. That makes sense though. It might be something like since he didn't qualify, he'll have to take high school level classes at the university. And since he is taking high school level courses, he isn't eligible to participate in sports. I'm not saying that this is what the case is gonna be, just a possibility.

Sorry to burst your rant, but they have won three. 1996-beat us, 2005-slaughtered Colorado, and 2009-"beat" us ONE NATIONAL TITLE! Good gawd... In fairness, your post was a little misleading. "One title since the big 12's inception" appears like you are saying one Big 12 title. I understood what you meant (because I know Texas has only had one title), but it is slightly misleading. Yeah sorry about that. I guess that's what I get for skimming.
