  1. I know I read that part about Suh and it sounded like he had already committed.
  2. It's funny, because I don't recall you standing there when I was talking to Lee. Were you? What I wrote there was in direct relation to what Lee was saying. Nice try, though. Really....maybe next time put quotations around this quote like so "Anyone not penciling Yoshi into the starting lineup come Fall camp had better reconsider. I think he's the best lineman we've got" said Lee But in the mean time I'm going to assume that you were the one that said that....not Lee but it really doesn't matter anymore now does it It wasn't a quote, it was a paraphrase. You quote exact words. You paraphrase intent. And you can assume all you want, won't change a thing. Heated conversation. I like it.
  3. "Annexors" actually has a good ring to it. I like Corn Borers too, but Im afraid most of the country would think we sat around talking to corn. They already do.
  4. I was at this game!! Its probably one of my best memories. I was right in front of it like 5 rows up. AWESOME!!!!!!! That guy flew 13 1/2 feet! At least you remember the game skerman, I don't think #8 does. I was at this game as well. So much fun! Yeah, I unfortunately wasn't at the game, but I saw it on TV. When I saw that play, I was like damn Crouch is a beast. The funny part is that Iowa wanted to start a rivalry and when we curb stomped them both times, they were like we had enough of this and they broke it off.
  5. So wait, his hand is broken? I thought it was an April Fool's joke? Damn that sucks. I hope his recovery is swift enough for him to compete in summer and fall camp. From what I've heard it's not slowing him down any, so no worries. It sounds like he could be done for the rest of the spring.
  6. I couldn't find a teaser on Rasco. Where did you see it? Edit: THe last HI article was released on March 14th. There is a Notre Dame one talking about how he's getting an offer that came out April 6th. I see the one he is talking about, it is from Alabama's site.
  7. ESPN article It would seem Kiehl Frazier (Springdale, Ark./Shiloh Christian) had nothing to prove, with offers from many of the top programs in the country, but that clearly wasn't the case at Saturday's EA Sports Elite 11 Quarterback Camp. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Frazier continues to show why he is considered one of the top prospects in the country with another eye-catching performance, competing against a field that included talents such as Kendal Thompson (Moore, Okla./Southmoore), J.W. Walsh (Corinth, Texas/Denton Guyer), Michael Brewer (Austin, Texas/Lake Travis), Russell Bellomy (Arlington, Texas/Martin) and up-and-coming sophomore Matt Davis (Houston, Texas/Klein Forest). "It's fun to come out and compete with all these good quarterbacks out here," Said Frazier, who didn't want it to be known before hand that he has a sports hernia that will require surgery on Tuesday. "There is so much potential and talent out here, just to get to compare myself with them is a chance to get better. The drills were great. Some of the drills like the bungy footwork drill were tough. They gave us some good tips that I can take home and work on." Competing at the camp was the last part of a big weekend for Frazier, who visited Oklahoma on Friday. Saturday began with an unofficial visit to TCU (where the Elite 11 was held) for the annual purple and white game and a first chance to sit down with members of the Horned Frogs staff. "It was fun. I met with coach [Justin] Fuente, coach [Gary] Patterson and met with the quarterbacks. I didn't know what to expect, but TCU probably moved up on my list because I had a great experience down here," Said Frazier, who took in the spring game from the sidelines. TCU is the latest program to get in the mix for the All-American. Among more than 15 offers, four programs are recruiting Frazier the hardest with key relationships being built. "Probably Arkansas, Miami and Kansas State are recruiting me the hardest and UCLA just got in the mix and are starting to come on. It's probably those four schools. I've built relationships with coach [Gus] Malzahan of Auburn because he is the first one who ever recruited me, coach [Garrick] McGhee because he is close at Arkansas, Coach Kyle Williams at Kansas State because he recruits me and today I got to know coach Fuente and coach Patterson and they impressed me a lot." Trips to both coasts are being planned for the spring and summer. "We'll probably go to Miami and Florida, because they are Florida, and UCLA and USC. After those four, I'm really not sure." Frazier said. Finding the comfort with the chance to compete right away will be the perfect fit for the budding star. "I really don't have a certain thing [as far as a scheme] I'm looking for. I'm just looking for where I fit, I'm comfortable and can come in and compete is what I'm looking for." Arkansas, Auburn, UCLA, Kansas State, Miami and Florida are considered the early favorites.
  8. Yeah I live in South Sioux, which is right across the river from Iowa, so I have dealt with a few Hawkeye fans. Whenever they start talking about football, I always say, "When was the last time Iowa won a national title? Oh, wait..."
  9. Yeah you didn't know? They're having real bad budget problems. They can't leave the state to recruit.
  10. Can we just chalk him up as our sixth commit already.
  11. And that fake cramp was one of the smarter plays he made all year. He saved his teammate with that one. Though I did notice one play missing from that tape, where's the play against Texas where McCoy tried to run up the middle and Suh clotheslines him? They must have accidentally put it on Colt's highlight film instead of Suh's.
  12. Hopefully he doesn't pull what the Northern Colorado punter did. I'm sure he wouldn't do that, but you know how some people are willing to do whatever it takes to get their shot.
  13. Why is Nebraska so windy? Because Iowa sucks and Colorado blows.
  14. So did anybody pick Klachko to be the next commit?
  15. We wouldn't know which team we're cheering for when everyone is chanting "GO BIG RED."
  16. Except the other day when Alabama and Arkansas owned us in the WR poll. That's because I'm sure the people who didn't have a receiver from their team on the poll, or they voted honestly, picked the best receiver on the board. Trust me, their are alot of WRs better than Paul. True, but the point Enhance89 as well as myself was trying to make is that anytime a Husker is in any kind of poll, we usually band together and vote for them, regardless if we believe whether they're better than the other nominees. Logic is bypassed for the sake of pure numbers. I know what you mean. What I am trying to say though is that there are probably more average fans who picked the player they know most about, like Julio Jones. I am sure there are alot of Nebraska fans who didn't vote for Paul because they weren't being honest with themselves, and seeing how inconsistent he was, they weren't going to give him something that he doesn't deserve. I do agree with that we do dominate online polls, but some people might have morals. Although I voted for him, I don't think that he is in the top five best receivers. I understood your original point and I'm also aware of the average fan votes. But I wasn't taking that into consideration when I responded to Enhance89 originally. In other words it wasn't relevant to my point. It was just a simple response of saying "except we lost that poll," without factoring in the "average fan" among other things in that poll. No biggie though. Yeah no biggie. When I read your post, I thought you were putting emphasis on that just Alabama and Arkansas fans beat us. See what happens when you have to guess the tone of what someone writes. Oh well, the good thing is that McNeill is in the lead. I wonder if we'll have any O-lineman in his top O-Line poll.

  19. I skimmed through this, the quote that caught my eye was "there is only the roof to add to Memorial Stadium," and I was like ok something is up.
  20. They must have switch up the Big 8 schedule because we also played Colorado in Boulder those two years.
  21. When we see him running for a touchdown on his first carry.
