  1. might be a blessing in disguise for next year considering that we are losing 3 of our starters.
  2. This kid is a stud, fast twitch muscles, ripped like Rex and hits like a truck. Can put on 5-10 more lbs.
  3. Remember, a lot of times "studs" or southern kids come to nebraska thinking they can steal spots and start right away because of the "stereotypes". Claiming to be the next Suh doesn't help either.
  4. I know it sounds dumb but nebraska has to take all of these guys. Especially all the southern guys. The more you fill your roster with these kids, the easier it gets to bring in top notch southern talent.
  5. Doesn't like the Nebraska culture. Some players didn't like his attitude. SEC culture fits his mindset.
  6. ASU is there as a back up to where best case scenario, he's close to home. OU is using offensive and TE tradition. Nebraska is the team to beat and just needs Mom's full approval and he's ours.
  7. Loves Nebraska and knows its the best school for him. Still, he's scared to leave CA and if he wasn't he would've committed a long time ago.
  8. If I'm Nebraska and JoJo wants N, I take him. He's in the Abdullah mold with maybe more speed. You never pass up GOOD florida talent.
  9. He's probably the best one out of the bunch. At least right now...
  10. But he's only making an effort to see nebraska.
  11. casey sayles will be a late add. he has offers from ohio and bowling green and would be very surprised if he didnt get a offer. he was matched up against lacatoure last week and from what I hear he did more than hold his own. he make pick up a few other small offers along the way but if nebraska offers he will definately be ours. Thats exactly who I was alluding to. If he gets a few more offers, Nebraska will offer because if full on walk ons are going to eventually start on your Oline then you have to get those "borderline offer" guys. Plus this year they can take a chance on a guy.
  12. I have a feeling there will be a nebraska kid (besides Christian and Josh) who will eventually get a scholarship. A lot more talent in Neb this year than they are getting credit for.
  13. They had to play him. His presence has to be accounted for and he needed the experience. This year will allow him to see where he stands in D1 football and what to improve on for next year. I cannot wait to see him with a year in the strength program while he gets D1 speed training. He's bigger than 225lbs. He's around 235. The staff needed to know what they had with Imani so they could go into next year extremely comfortable with their backs.
  14. Left North Carolina and is now trying to get a hold of Nebraska.
  15. Just bought my tickets for this game. I cannot wait!
  16. We have some momentum and we need to keep it going.
  17. I hope we play USC real soon...
  18. It's always going to be a mixture. The system comment was used to sugar coat the reality of Aaron not getting 30 carries a game. Done.
  19. Oh and it's very likely that Braylon will be moved back to RB. A. Bell playing well and CJ coming in makes that move easier.
  20. oh and be a little careful about what you say on here. Players do read this board and say its the main one they know of. Most of the older guys and starters don't look but the younger guys/walk-ons do and info is relayed.
  21. Is it Quincy Enunwa? That's what my guess was. dingdingdingdingding So Ameer was still leading? oh yeah, but not by a HUGE margin. Aaron was due for steady playing time but he wanted to be the man and saw himself as "reggie bush" like. Also Nebraska is incorporating their Rb's in the slot much more and Aaron doesn't have the best hands and Ameer was playing really well in that position. Aaron also felt that being at Nebraska was going to hinder him in the pros because of the "logjam"
  22. Is it Quincy Enunwa? That's what my guess was. dingdingdingdingding
  23. I have one connection to the team. I won't say his name but he's a hard hitter from the inland empire (CA) but may not be the first guy that comes to mind. Either way, he said that Aaron almost left a few times and that playing time was the only reason he left. He's not homesick at all but just mad that he was a high school all american and he cannot beat out Ameer. He also is mad about Marrow being a factor in the carries and doesn't want to wait for Rex to graduate anymore. I have to say, I personally know some of his relatives in the LA area and they all said he has the ego of the family. Take it for what it's worth.
