  1. There are times where guys miscommunicate! Not that it makes it right, but it is the first game and very early.
  2. I have AppleTV and Playstation VUE. I watch every thing I want to between the apps and PSVUE. It is a great setup and saves me over $120/month. I also have two Roku's. I like those, but the interface is nowhere near as user friendly or intuitive as AppleTV. Vue has a terrible interface on the Roku, but the rest of the services (e.g. Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, etc.) are good. I don't know why Vue hasn't improved their interface, but it is annoying on the Roku right now. Agree. We have all ROKU, and I like it (especially the stick), but the VUE interface was not good. I'd like to try HULU Live this year, but it is still not available on ROKU....yet. So is vue just terrible on the ROKU? I'm thinking about Apple TV and Rue which looks best for my sports needs and a couple other channels for around 55 bucks a month. I have Vue on Roku for $30/month ($35 to include BTN). Does Apple TV cost money? Huskers 44, it is only terrible on the ROKU. AppleTV is awesome. This best interface is on your PS4, but that is what I use in the basement. I love my AppleTV. The only cost is purchase which is higher than a Roku, but it is worth it with the awesome mirroring capabilities. My school stuff is all apple so I have a Mac, iPad, and iPhone I can mirror with. Mirroring is great! I am able to watch film on my big screen instead of my iPad now! Was hoping Xbox wouldn't kid allow the hudl app to work, but now that is no longer an issue with Apple TV!

We tried it a while ago and did not like it and very happy with Apple TV. Still getting use to the whole Vue set up, but I like it as well. Anything that will save us money and stick it to Dish is alright with me!
  4. Yes. Didn't even have a full line for spring ball I believe. They will be young. The whole Fleck thing has people believing the Goofs will be great...or shall I say, elite!
  5. Was it cut short by injury? I thought he got some weird injury/infection he never recovered from??
  6. Gotta be a plan B guy. He is a good player, but with this small class there are others that we need to take. Coached against this kid the last two years...as I have said before, there were others we were more concerned with. This year should be different for them though....will be interesting to see how he does.
  7. I really want to believe we will be a 10+ win team, but the last decade has been all hype and then huge let downs...I guess if I keep my expectations low than anything above a 7 win season is a bonus :-)
  8. Coached against this kid this past fall. Will be interesting to see how he pans out. Did not stand out on film, but they had other kids that we were more worried about.
  9. IMO Clester Johnson Jr. was a miss on their part. It was also bad timing. If he was coming out this year I think he would have an offer. Last year they had a fairly small class and had not dismissed Irons and the other kid yet. Didn't Riley speak with them and offer him when they were hired, but it was too late? No. I thought he was offered and decided to stay committed to Wyoming??
  10. Because they're both white? Westy doesn't thave the speed, quickness or the moves that Edelman has, that's a pretty terrible comparison. Amendola might be a decent comp, though. Guess that's your opinion as it had nothing to do with race. Westerkamp Height: 6'0" Weight: 200 40 time: 4.5 seconds according to the link above. Vertical: 40" Edelman Height: 5'10" Weight: 200 40 times: 4.52 at the combine Vertical: 36 1/2" At first glance, you're wrong based on what you're saying. Clearly Westy has the same speed, the same size, the same UPS if not better, he has fantastic hands. Unfortunately we won't get to compare NFL combine numbers so it'll be interesting to see how things go with those numbers on down the line. Now if you want to say that Westy can't seem to get his hips engaged at times and seems stiff in that area then I might only agree with that assessment. And remember, we're comparing a soon to be rookie to a seasoned NFL veteran so of course he's not going to have some of the same development yet that Julian has. Watch it and try to remember: No, not really. I feel like the fact Edelman has four career punt return touchdowns in the league compared to Westy's almost exclusively fair catching it against (often) mediocre college competition is kind of telling about their athleticism. They are not that similar, and I highly doubt Westerkamp would run that fast of a time at the combine. Brandon Reilly is a 4.5 guy and he's clearly faster than Jordan. I'm not a Westerkamp hater, they're just not a great comparison, the only reason people would compare the two is because they're white. It's not bringing race into it's just the truth. Your opinion I guess......... Not to beat a dead horse but here are Antonio Brown's combine numbers: Height: 5'10" Weight: 186 40: 4.57 Vertical: 33.5 And no one's comparing Westerkamp to Brown just because they're both undersized guys without blazing speed. If those measurables you listed for JW are legit, they would compare somewhat favorably with a guy like OBJ. If that's the case, why is everyone still trying to compare him to Edelman? Westerkamp can be a great receiver at the next level, I'm only pointing it out because it's a lazy comparison that a lot of fans seem hell-bent on making. Part of the reason I compare the two are because of the type of WR I feel JW will be at the next level. He may be a guy to stretch the field, but he will be the guy for the short to intermediate passing game...similar to what Edelman does. JW will be sure handed and will trusted to make the catches.
  11. Is this a legacy kid? Brendan's (spelling?) son or relative?
  12. Shoot...DUI's in Baton Rouge? If you don't have 6 of them they probably get mad at you. Drive thru liquor stores. That is all. had those in little rock 15 yrs ago. might be a southern thing. South Dakota has them...at least where I went to school they did!
  13. Great to see another former player on the staff. They can keep the history going amongst the new guys and really bring it to the current roster what it means to be a Blackshirt and represent the university and state. What was his tenure like in the NFL? I thought he made it there, but for how long?
  14. At some point it is ok to call someone out. What this kid did says a lot about his character. I get it that it is stressful. Going through the process myself was bad enough. I cannot imagine being a big time type recruit. You have to understand both sides, but flipping back and forth and then not communicating his intentions is shady.
  15. Glad to win out against the teams that he had at the top...good things to come.
  16. Dang it! Hard to pull them away from USC...once we have a proven QB I think it will be easier to land these guys.
  17. Can't even be mad at him...I feel sorry for him! Whether or not he committed to the Huskers or not, he seems to have some issues or just very confused maybe. Good luck young man!
  18. Can you show 1 single example of this? Did people actually say that? He's easily a top 3 safety in this draft. There is quite the range of opinions in this thread. That would be the thread I was looking for, thanks Mav I am sure I was critical of him in this thread. As good of a career he did have, I still feel he was inconsistent while tackling....even though he was the leading tackler. His angles and perceived lack of effort at times was frustrating. I think he did well for the Huskers and I hope he does get drafted! If he can get into the right situation and proper coaching he has the athletic ability to make it!
