  1. My guess as to who we may see play are really only Cooper and Rome and I think it is like a 25% chance they play. Rome has the size, skill and mindset, but with his injuries and the depth of the four or five in front of him I don't really see it unless he really starts impressing in practice or there are injuries. Cooper is pretty much in the same boat. With Ricky T, Gomes, West, Cassidy, PJ, and even Haag to some extent there is a lot of experience and talent ahead of him, so I can't really see it happening either. However, I was shocked to see Ciante out there Saturday. SO the best bet I believe for a newcomer to play is JSB at WR. He has no redshirt to burn and the coaches love his speed. But if he can't block and it ain't clicking upstairs we all know Gilmore won't let him see the field.
  2. Alright gentlemen, who's gonna be there bright and early tomorrow for the 11:30 kickoff? Count me in 30 rows up South Endzone
  3. over (Bo will come out of the tunnel with veins popping) OVER/UNDER: Kunalic kicks through the endzone = 1.5 times Under 1 Number of weisners schlinged over the east balcony and out of the stadium
  4. Dish is kinda pissing me off. On their website it says in the 250+ package, like I do, you receive the BigTen Network. However, when you go to where the channel is supposed to be it ain't there because you have to pay for a larger sports package to get it. Same with Versus which once was in my package. It sucks. But I have heard RUMORS and saw it once on a Iowa message board that all states with Big Ten schools do get the BigTen Network as part of their basic packages. Now I am NOT certain or proclaiming anything, but if true I will be able to swallow the crap the rest of this year. Anyone else with other info please chime in. Again this is what I have heard, nothing official.
  5. Have Dish. Paid extra $10 for the game because it was to be in HD. Game comes on, no HD only SD. I want my damn $10 back. So no it was not last week and I know a lot of Dish people were very pissed.
  6. It's a shame that the frohawk still doesn't live. n.e.husker was right it is gone. Too bad the Frohawk and Camstache could've created such a devastating force when their powers combine.
  7. I'd say that's the most logical explanation, why didn't I think of this!? LOL Whom is this Owa you speak of? Seriously I don't even think he traveled or played. Can't find a participation list anywhere for UCLA. Immediate playing time, eh? Thanks MAMA
  8. Or maybe they were watching the NU/KSU film from last year, ya know since that's who Skippy opened up with
  9. Unfortunately under, as nuance said they just aren't cool enough to recognize such a great stache. OVER/UNDER 5 packs of Gum for BO
  10. HOBBI!!! HOBBI!!! HOBBI!!! OK, doubt he commits without taking all his visits, seems to have a good head on his shoulders and wants to make a sure choice. SO because of that, I believe one of the DB's visiting for the Whorns game will be the first to pull the trigger. Cash or Jackson. But IF Hobbi says he doesn't need to visit anyone else and commits, I probably do the Safety Dance dance around the house.
  11. Cooper Dingleberry is from Tyler, TX and it seems that every game in which he has reffed involving us always seems to have profound flag throwing tendancies or lack of(i.e. all the holds which this blow hole should be looking for). He also threw the "phantom" holding call on a QB sneak in the Mizzou/ISU game a couple years ago. Such a bad call that it prompted the Big XII to write an apology to the Zoo for blowing the call and costing them the game. Let's just say I hope this man is no where near the state of Nebraska on October 16
  12. You know a lot of people are bagging Niles for how he holds onto the rock, but did anyone notice how much worse Kinnie did. I know, I know Niles had a fumble, but at the rate BK totes the pill he may be just as bad.
  13. Saw he wasn't suited up for the game Saturday, does anyone know what was up with that?
  14. The blow hole DID drop us. Herbie had NU at #5 last week and dropped them to #9. All there is to say is
  15. I believe this blow hole dropped us. The Ohio honeymoon is over, Herbie is back to his old shinanigans
  16. 1. D-Line dominance and consistant harassment of Enderle that he needs a restraining order 2. No running back setting career highs against the Blackshirts 3. A Mike McNeill sighting 4. Going DEEP, Martinez never did, let's see the cannon 5a. That ritard, Lil Red getting a Weinerschlinger shot right up side the head, and never seen again. 5b. Old school Herbie, not Pedey's "The Hills" version
  17. In a related note Cam's jersey from Saturday is expected to be out 2-3 weeks following reconstructive surgery to reattach his sleeves to the body.
  18. Skers 41 Da Vandals 14 Pound the Ground for 302 Flair in the Air for 172
  19. The Boise State Broncos.....the weed in your backyard that never dies. Hats off to Boise they earned it. Their play in the trenches won this game for them. And Kellen Moore is as cool as the other side of the pillow
  20. Told ya. Va Tech is screwed they used their miracle last year against us.
  21. Every second is precious. Kellen Moore is so smooth and smart with the football, he doesn't need 10-15 seconds more. That's two plays. Throwing 39 tds to 3 picks last year is no fluke. He will make this interesting
  22. The WAC is very weak. Probably why they are heading to the Mountain West and even with the MWC losing Utah and BYU, that conference is still much much stronger than the WAC. The best part of them joining the MWC is that Boise and TCU will eliminate one or other so we don't have to hear a debate for both of them to go to a BCS bowl. SOS will eliminate that scenario.
  23. Go for two so a FG don't beat ya. Guessing they were hoping their defense would start stopping Boise. Plus their little sheet says go for two, although too many coaches live by that stupid sheet. If this was the first half it would be completely stupid, but late in the third I say good call. I understand that theory but that would make a lot more sense in the 4th quarter. The third is still too early to give up a free point. I wouldnt go for two until the 4th esp the way this game has been going. But what if the games on the line and Boise State has a chance for a FG with 3 seconds left? Then the 2 points would've been nice to have but it looks bad cause he didn't get it. That's just a part of the game in taking risks and not really knowing how good the reward will be. I feel that a coach go to the sheet in a close game halfway through the 3rd or later. It sucks to have the choice come back and bite ya in the ass. And what is up with Boise's kicker and the left hash.
