All right, well I hate to admit this, but I just purchased UCLA season seats a few moments ago, ONLY TO GUARENTEE TICKETS FOR THE BIG RED. I have been bugging friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors for the last few weeks to see who would want to help me go to the extra games and fill the seats for me. Finally, I bit the big one and bought the seats (since I am getting a lot of interest from everyone about using the tickets for the other games). So, if anyone wants to see Andrus play or Owa and Fuller, let me know. It is the weirdest thing when you call the UCLA season ticket office and tell them the only reason why you are getting these tickets is because you are a die-hard fan of Nebraska and that you wanted to reserve good seats for that specific game only. Anyways, I just had to share with everyone that I am EXCITED about finally having tickets to go see BIG RED!!!!! I can't wait to see the Rose Bowl covered in RED! GBR!!!!!

What are the chances of getting all five? Aside from Peat (who scares me with all the USC rumors going around), which is the most likely and which is the least likely? I would think Curry is the most likely and Shelton is the least likely.

Agreed. Talent and depth would be greatly upgraded. I also agree. Fuller would be a nice athlete to slot into the QB position with T-Mart and Tommy, but getting the added depth is very important for the class as well. I'm still not sure why Fuller feels NU is not the right place. If I were a Fuller, I would see that T-Mart is vulnerable to injury as well as competion takeover, so the odds of playing for a ranked team that runs an offense which mirrors his abilities is right in front of his face. Going to school out in AZ, I can testify that U of A football is not a big issue on Saturday afternoons.

I completely agree! I can never find a hat as well. Other schools have so many different options. With that being said, when is the Adidas contract up (i.e. when is NU able to go sign with Nike or UA and get some more modern items, without taking away from TO's tradition)?

I agree with you. I noticed the 3 stars this morning and was pleasently surprised. Everyone is talking about the desperation by the staff, but I really like it when the coaches find a diamond in the rough. Same thing with D-Bo, but of course LSU came along.

I'm glad somebody asked this - thanks augggie! I live in Southern CA as well as was just days away from asking this same question. I believe we have about 12 people wanting to go to the game so far to wear red and be loud, so I appreciate all the information as well! GBR!

Corey Raymond is the only person I'd feel comfortable with this responsibility. Maybe Garrison, who is doing a hell of a job this year. A pleasant suprise. I agree. JP makes sense, and Raymond would be the best to step into the recruiting coordinator role. JP has done a heck of a job over the last few years in the recruiting efforts, so I'd hate to see him be too far removed from the recruiting picture.

I agree with you that this is sad, but LD will be rewarded for his hardwork during the draft. As much as I would love to see some more deserved hardware coming into Lincoln, it is always nice to see Huskers projected, and more importantly taken, in the first or second rounds of the draft.

I have to post this here. I got a feelin' as well. My wife and I have two boys and we are currently pregnant with child number three (about 99.99% sure this will be our last). We had the ultrasound this morning and found out that we are blessed to get our girl this time around. Great news this morning and I predict great news for Big Red tonight!!!!! Just had to share and this seemed like the right thread to do it in!

Exactly! I am so excited about the quality, depth, and talent of the four RBs. Why is Beck trying to hrow so much? Run the dang ball and wear out the defenses. With four quality backs (and the legs of Martinez and Legate) we should be pounding that ball rather than forcing Taylor to make the throws that he can't seem to make. Why try to be something we aren't (an air attack team) and focus on what we are best at (rushing the ball)?

True, but isn't his job as commish to not let Texas get away with those things and keep all schools in the conference happy and not just the golden child?

Ok, so rumors are nothing more than rumors. Sure we can all sit here all day and discuss which teams should get invited and why this and who that, etc. My question for everyone though is slightly different and completely sincere. Why does it seem like the B1G is not interested in expansion? Are they truely happy with where we are and do not see the need to make a move for only the sake of making a move? The "better" or "more attractive" schools remaining on the board seem to be disappearing, so why wouldn't the B1G make an attempt to sway them over here before the other conferences have a chance? Is the B1G just that selective? Just curious, because all of these rumors floating around really don't mention the B1G as being a key player (unless and only unless Notre Dame is involved). The rumors and articles talk about how "hungry" the PAC-12, ACC, and SEC are, while the silent B1G isn't even mentioned. Just interested in feedback.

It almost seems like the type of game you wish there were 15 recruits at. I could tell from watching it on TV that the atmosphere was great. I wish I was there.
