  1. .....he had an off day. As the lone senior and soul of the program, he's the clear cut best player. You live and die with him unless others step up. Jack stepped up in the first half as well as Horne and Jordy and times, but the foul trouble was eventually too much to overcome. Jordy couldn't play as physical of defense as he'd like and it cost us points in the 2nd half. That was the difference, not Tai being selfish. An off game? His lack of team play has costed us more than one game this year. He had sev, TOs and more than half his shots were forced. Also the last few games, he has gotten frustrated about the officiating and quits playing def.. If you remember, he was on the bench when we came back against Purdue. It's all about Tai, plain and simple. ....no.

It means I don't like the Patriots and I wouldn't mind seeing Brady retire. I'm kind of a Broncos fan...

Bad thing = Patriots win. Good thing = Brady retires.

Ahhh. How did I miss that? Gotcha.

  4. Yeaah. Evan Taylor is definitely the weak spot of the back court. It's showing more with Glynn being injured and Tai is just having an off day. Roby needs to step up also. He's just getting beat.
  5. Down 2 at the half. This is shaping up to be another thriller. Despite the foul trouble with Jordy and Jacobson, we've been playing from ahead. Jack and playing out of his mind. He's driving to the hole, hitting mid-range shots, and is really playing tough defense. What a turnaround. Also, love the black uniforms. Love the shoes.
  6. My rational side agrees with you. In that moment, I really wanted to believe it was an airplane just so I could forget it and focus on the road, but I couldn't. It didn't move like one. It's so hard to describe. I have no doubts that you've seen lights in the sky at night that have turned out to be planes, but I'm still not convinced we saw similar things.
  7. I appreciate the input, Knapp. It's going to be impossible for me to describe exactly how this light source moved, but I really don't think it was a plane. I used to work at the airport and am somewhat familiar with how planes descend into LNK from DEN. It didn't move like a plane. It was more sporadic.
  8. After I kept seeing it for about 15-20 miles straight, I was out of "rational" ideas for what it could be. I then figured it's got to either be some sort of UFO/Alien type thing or a Trump/Gov. thing. ...or ...BOTH!
  9. Holy sh#t, dude. I thought my experience was freaky! That's messed up. At least you got to share the 2nd time with your wife so you know that you're not crazy. I just wish I had someone else with me who could vouch for me.
  10. I was so enamored by it that, after a while, I would turn my entire upper body around to make sure I wasn't just seeing things in my mirror. I saw it directly and it looked exactly the same. Just so we're clear, I was the only one in danger here. I wouldn't have acted that way if I had cars in my vicinity.
  11. Hmmmm. That's sounds pretty similar to what I saw. The thing that I couldn't wrap my head around was that I could see it passing York, Waco, Utica, Beaver Crossing, Goehner, Seward, Milford, Crete. I was checking my mirrors every few seconds and it was still in the sky, no bigger, no smaller, but still moving about in a weird little pattern. Hahaha. I know. When I got home, it really hit me how reckless I was being at the time, but I honestly couldn't help myself. I've never come across anything that I couldn't at least guess what it was. This was extremely unsettling to witness, especially since I was driving.
  12. I am being 100% genuine when I type this. I was driving East on I-80 tonight, heading back to Lincoln. I went past the York / Waco area around 8:30 and I noticed something in my rear view mirror. Nobody was driving in my immediate area. There were a few cars maybe a half mile ahead and the same behind me. At first I thought it may have been a glare from a light or something like that, but after multiple mirror checks for many miles, I was sure that it wasn't a glare. You can see a few stars when driving on I-80, but they aren't very bright, but this thing was. It was as if you had a star, but 3x the size of ones you see in the sky. The light kept moving to the left and right, up and down, almost like it was flying, but, again, it was lit up and it never got any smaller as I drove down the road. I kept trying to rationalize it to myself because I started freaking out a little bit. I had gotten all the way to Crete and I was still seeing it, mirror or no mirror. I hit the rumble bars like 5 times because I kept looking at it. Every time I looked, it was still up in the sky, moving around in an unorganized little pattern. I was like, maybe one of the cars behind me has like a glowing kite thing that they're flying out of their sunroof? No way, what about the underpasses? A drone? Wait a minute, 75mph? How would it be keeping up? I'm not saying it was following me, just that it never seemed to get any smaller from my vantage point. I still have no clue what it was. By the time I got to the 77 exit, I was just trying to focus on the road and not get myself killed trying to figure this thing out. It wasn't an airplane, it wasn't a helicopter, and it wasn't a drone. The movements I saw don't match up with those things. It was something else. Has anyone else ever seen anything in the sky that they couldn't explain? Not just something you aren't aware of, but something that just didn't make any sense? You can laugh at me now if you want.
  13. Yep. I probably would've said 8 wins if the DC change had not been made and if our recruiting class wouldn't have been what it is. But I went with 11 wins. Yeah, yeah, I realize that may be a little optimistic but with all this good news recently I figured WTH YOLO. 9 or 10 wins is probably a lot more realistic but I'm hoping with the right guys for the desired offense and some renewed energy on the D side, maybe we pullout a couple of the games we're accustomed to writing off as loses. I'm with you. I'm not sure the win total will be all that different, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say our losses will be easier to stomach.
  14. I think you're tragically negative. You should look for the good in the team instead of dwelling on the bad things. Might make your fan experience less stressful. Just by the language you use in your posts, it seems like you really have little hope for the Huskers.
  15. Nothing too crazy in there, but a great listen! I like hearing his evaluations of recruits: Sees Avery Roberts as a "prototypical inside linebacker" with his size/speed and leadership potential. Sees Guy Thomas as an "every-down player" with versatilitiy. Didn't comment on whether as OLB or DE. Right. Not so much crazy, but I thought he said a lot of things worth mentioning. You hit on a few of them here. His answers aren't quite like the others. Which is refreshing as hell. He's like Banker in that regard.

Best pump-up vid I've seen in a minute! Already excited to see what these new guys have to add to the legacy of Nebraska football!

  17. Love this guy. Great movie, great line. Hilarious!
  18. To be honest I think he'd be happy at which ever he chooses. The important piece will be to finally commit to one and sign the paper. I'm sure WSU is a pretty good school. Wazzu would be fun, if you liked getting the side of your head caved in by the elite teams in your conference.... He can get that at Nebraska! It's almost like he wants to go somewhere as remote as Lincoln, but without any of the football success.
  19. At this point, I'd be very disappointed if he ends up signing with us. Since he picked OSU at the Army All-American game, he's been nothing but drama. Goodbye. Tell Derrion Grim hello.
  20. And to think we should be 6-3 (4th) in league play if we don't lose to tOSU and RU.

I honestly think we are easily that if morrow is still active.

With Morrow active, we probably beat Michigan, idk about either game against Northwestern. He played in the first one at PBA, but he was limited IIRC.

The NW game seemed like hangover from a 2OT win over Iowa. Webster and Watson looked gassed after playing 49 and 45 minutes. I would like to see Taylor spell those two more often.

  21. Recruiting Strategy: West (QB/WR/DB) Midwest (OL/ILB) South+East (DL/OLB) West Coast Speed, Midwest Muscle, Southern Size, & East Coast Toughness.
