  1. Not only does he love DWill, but Bookie has been in his ear. With how well we are sitting with his brother, nothing would surprise me here. I'm not seeing how you think we are sitting so well with Josh or this kid. We weren't in Josh's top 5 out of that top 10 (Tennessee, Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida State) and he stated his best relationship is with Butch Jones at Tennessee. Jordan kid is still committed. I know it's early and a lot can change but man seems way too optimistic for the current situation. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football-recruiting/2017/3/21/14999862/joshua-moore-recruit-img-florida-state-lsu-fsu-alabama-ohio-state I'm not too optimistic with Jordan - I am with Joshua, though. I don't know as much about Jordan's situation other than him and DDub seem to be tight and Bookie has been in his ear.
  2. Not as uphill as you might think. In fact, I believe that we are currently in lead for his services. The fact that he is bringing his brother to the SG says a lot, IMO. Obviously a lot of time between now and his commitment date and a lot can change - but KDub will have is in it until his final decision. I want this one bad... Not in the lead and definitely uphill. In fact we are not in the top 5 out of his 10 right now and his best relationship is quoted as Butch Jones. It doesn't say a lot that he's bringing his brother. They are family, why would you not all take the trip together? It's more of just logistically reasonable than telling of our place in his mind. It's always an "uphill" battle with these elite recruits, but I'm telling you that we are in good shape here. And his brother coming with him is way more than just "logistically reasonable." Joshua attends IMG in Florida and Jordan is still in Texas.

  4. This^^^Guy is a stud with good connections to others we are in on. Brevin was my top dog even before Yankoff came off the board. He is a sneaky good athlete too.

  6. Obviously there are the clear candidates like Martinez, Bell, Abdullah, Evans, Zaire and Randle, but I want to go with guys that we weren't 100% sure about 3 months. Offense: Adam Taylor-Adrian Peterson 2.0 IMO Defense: Maliek Collins-most athletic DT on the team IMO
  7. Man, that is awesome to hear. Hopefully we can keep in contact with him and lock him up! He is a serious talent.
  8. Honestly, I was not very impressed at all by his workout film. His front squat seems to be below average and his power clean was also sub par. Anyone else agree?
  9. I think he would make a great TE. Thats where I project him at. But he really could succeed at a number of different positions. These are the kind of athletes that we need to get. He is a special athlete.
  10. He seems pretty small. His Rivals page has I'm at 5' 7" 156. I'm hoping that he has hit a bit of a growth spurt recently and Rivals just hasn't updated his profile. But I'm all for going south to get some southern talent.
  11. I really really like this kid. I made up my 2014 class wish list today and he definitely made the cut at WR. I think he would see the field early here as a special teams guru.
  12. Georgia is the head scratcher offer. They should have plenty of offensive guards to offer in their region of the country. Maybe ol' Richt was in town visiting his brothers and they told him to check him out.
  13. You don't say? A team with a Heisman contender QB might have a hard time if their QB blows a knee? Profound stuff today. I love TMart --- and have posted many times how his grit and toughness and his heart are admirable. Glad he is a Husker. That said, while early on (and largely because he is a QB in his 4th year as a starter... and because he has been pretty effective) he is an early sort of "outside" shot contender for a Heisman. But as good as he is --- and he is really quite good --- he will not (as time progresses) be part of any serious Heisman talk. I wouldn't say that. Heisman Odds 15/1 odds aren't too bad (AA is right behind him with 18/1)
  14. I would say only if it is the right two. We don't need to take a reach in this class, we don't have the room. But if the right two come along and both want N, then I could see us taking two.
  15. And what exactly is a canyon for an arm? I do like his name. Pierre Thats my name, so he would be awesome just for that reason. Whoops! It was late and I was tired....you all know what I meant lol
  16. I'm a big big fan of this guy. I don't know what there isn't to love. He has a good frame (Rivals has him listed at 6'3" FYI), he has a canyon for an arm, he seems to keep his eyes down field when he scrambles, and he is very mobile. This guy would be a great fit for us!
  17. I think you forgot about Mixon. He could fit into either DE or DT, but I really like him at DE.
  18. I'm not sure what it is, but I really like this guy and think he is going get some pt on special teams this next season.
  19. Whoa there big fella! Lets cool the jets a bit.
  20. Obnoxious much? No different than someone going to every recruits thread and welcoming them to Nebraska when they verbal, except they aren't even actually yet. Or "want"? Yeah, that was much more annoying. This is the BOOM N letting people know they are actually huskers now. I find both to be annoying. But if everyone else is cool with him going around into everyone's threads, then I will get over it.
  21. I look for him to make an impact right away next year.
  22. That can be said about many players in this class, I really really like this class.
