  1. You have to know how to win. I understand being fired up but show a little class. Totally reminded me of Paul Rhodes at ISU (not a good thing). I didn't see Suh in the middle of that scruff though, thankfully.
  2. We are right where we probably should be. The rankings aren't based on teams' defense, it's based on the whole team. Our offense has played pretty well so far this year. And if you look at #5-25, I don't think there is anybody that we couldn't beat right now. The top 4 teams are in a class by themselves so far.
  3. Not worried. K-Sucks has to play the meat of their schedule yet. And typical Snyder fashion, super weak non-con. OU, OSU, & aTm will steam roll K-Sucks. And no, they are not better than us. Rankings don't really matter until the end of the season. K-Sucks would be 2-4 with our schedule.
  4. Right on the money GBR. If this kinda crap keeps up expect the other 90% of schools to breakaway from the NCAA and their incompetence. If this would have happened at a B1G school, the school would have been slammed a year ago.
  5. Boise, Georgia, W. Virginia, U$C, and Florida St. would be my top 5.
  6. LOL! That was great! That kid is gonna be infamous on Oregon's campus for about 2-3 weeks.
  7. It's kind of like touting the titles you won 14+ years ago after you get your ass kicked on the field in 2011 Some people should just not have internet access.
  8. Our group is planning on tailgating at the fairgrounds as well, and I think this area will be mostly Husker fans. Of course, I think this game will be mostly Husker fans. It would be great to "Red Out" their Homecoming.
  9. I'll be there. Also if anyone has any tailgating info key us know.
  10. My favorite is how everytime someone criticizes a player, coach, or the team, others manage to look down from the top of Perfect Mountain and lower their nose just long enough to tell them they are not a "True Fan" and don't deserve to root for the huskers. I will do my part - I am sorry, that as a fan, I have helped create a set of standards and expectations by which we expect this team, both players and coaches, to perform. Furthermore, I have realized that expecting players and coaches to learn from their mistakes, which will be made, is much too high of an expectation. We all expect those things. It seems to me some people are more willing to give them a chance to work towards those goals. People were lighting a fire under Bo's coaches seat last night for god's sake. If coaches and players aren't immune to criticism, why should the fans be? Good point. I guess the argument I was trying to make was that a fan is a fan. Good or Bad. Sunshine Pumper or Realist. However, we have a superb fanbase when compared across the board. This is an arrogant statement, and we are not without faults, but we treat our athletes very well compared to other schools. Just listen to Paul Finebaum's radio show, which is mostly SEC fans. They truely hate some of their own.
  11. You can't give teams like Wisconsin and Ohio State short fields. The interception was not Taylor's fault at all, that was a very, very poor play call. And yes you limp into halftime. You take that chance away from their offense and you don't put that responsibility on your defense.

  13. Is this serious or sarcasm? Just in case it's not sarcasm - What Bo should have done is run the clock down and gone to halftime. That's what fans were upset about. It's also the mistake he made last week at Wisconsin. Both mistakes in coaching resulted in points for the other team.
  14. Honestly probably no worse than anywhere else they have visited. I've seen Oregon fans boo their team when they are playing well (And before I get attacked on this, no I'm not saying that we should be like Oregon fans, or it's okay to boo our team for the hell of it like Oregon fans, the point is there are a lot worse places). If fans booing a poor performing team is a deal breaker for them, then they are going to have a hard time picking a school.
  15. The fans didn't turn their backs on the team lol. When they start cheering for NU to lose, then they would have turned their backs. And are you that surprised that not every Husker fan lives up to expectations?
  16. The playcalling was infinitely better in the second half. Plus the defense was getting off the field decently.
  17. I think most fans knew that int wasnt Taylors fault. It was the terrible game management by the coaches they were upset about IMO. Also, the fact that it was the second game in a row that it happened didn't help. But Memorial was really rocking at the start and in the second half. It's good to see her come to life for a change.
  18. They were booing they playcalling right before half. You would think Bo would learn his lesson from last week. Fans are going to boo from time to time. It's how they let the coaches know it was unacceptable last night. They also supported the the team until the end also, not to mention spend their hard earned cash to go to the game, but you didn't want to mention that just the booing. You grow up.
  19. Dealing with the media is part of the job, and he dealt with them appropriately. Next topic.
  20. Boy that must have been hard for Brown to do. I hope Curenski gets some playing time down the road.
  21. That's called "Pride" Hammerhead. And it's the only thing your guilty of. Others just let that go a long time ago and are now realizing what they miss.
  22. You said it with the first post! You are a model of Hypocrisy. Did you just get the Internet this week? I don't like all the personal attacks on the coaches and the players either, but guess what? It's their right to say it. If you don't like whats being discussed, then you don't have to read or listen. Isn't Democracy grand?!
  23. It's not about the public or what they want. The reporters have been trying to fabricate a story out of internet rumors/hearsay and Bo put an end to it. I'm not the biggest Martinez fan in the world, but honestly it's Thursday night and I'm tired of hearing/talking about it and I don't think I'm alone. Put yourself in Bo's shoes and ask yourself if you would have handled it better. I know I wouldn't have.
  24. The reporters should have let it go after the first question. You could tell he didn't want to talk about it. Bo didn't say anything offensive or explitive just what needed to be said. He actually handled it very well.
  25. It wouldn't surprise me if Bo went off like that on the media. And honestly, Gundy wasn't wrong when he chewed that reporter's a$$ out either. When the reporter kept pressing the issue after the first question, I thought Bo was gonna shoot lasers out of his eyes.
