  1. or Clemson or a number of other top programs playing down to lesser opponents early on in the season. We don't look great right now, doesn't mean we can't be a great team we just aren't putting it all together right now which isn't that uncommon. Some people here need to hold their horses and let the game play out before they start declaring the season a disaster because we aren't clicking completely in the first half of our second game. Exactly, just enjoy the game for a bit. Expecting perfection from 18-22 year old kids in ridiculous. Every team makes mistakes. The hope is to learn from them and grow as a team. All this doom and gloom gets tiring.I don't expect perfection. I expect competence. And it's not the players that are at fault for the most part. Throwing on 1st and goal on the 4. The defensive scheme. These are problems that come from the very grown up and highly paid coaches.alright man you take the headset and win some games for us you got this Only chefs can be food critics. Only directors can be film critics. Only people coaching at the FBS level can be critical on HB. You're a joke. I guess women aren't allowed to have an opinion on football at all since 0.000000000001% of football coaches and players are women. (I know you're being sarcastic - replying to other dude) Just wait until Hilary's in the White House. She'll fix that Football coaches are way more important than presidents so I'm still out of luck.

  3. This game might get scary. Anytime Wyoming is on our 40 yard line or closer they're going to use all 4 downs since their kicker sucks.
  4. We better hope we don't have any close games in the 4th quarter this season because it looks like we haven't gotten any better at stopping prayers by the other team.
  5. Announcers just referred to our "I'm a starter!" guy as one of "a couple of other guys"
  6. Cracks me up how the announcer keeps calling 3rd and 3 a passing down.
  7. Ya he's been good since he stopped dropping the ball.
  8. That was the right call. He was out of the play and the tackle was already made. If you look at Gates head he couldn't see what was going on with the running back and the running back was still moving. (Usually I don't defend stuff like this but it's what I saw on the replay). Anyway, not important.
  9. I've been wondering about him too. (In fact I forgot his name and kept trying to remember it...)
  10. That was a bad call on Nick Gates. The Nebraska player was still running. Was the defensive guy defenseless or something?
  11. Doesn't seem like it to me. They're doing a lot of stuff to help Armstrong.
  12. Dunno why anyone thought Armstrong would improve. He plateaued as a Sophomore. There was hope in his Junior year because of the new coach but obviously nothing happened. As for the red zone INT, that's on both him and the call. 50/50
  13. That's how I feel sometimes about Trump. If he gets voted in we kinda deserve whatever comes. Clearly we've failed as a country if this many idiots have been raised to vote for someone like him. The same could said about people voting for Clinton. Honestly, they're both terrible candidates. It can be said but it's not accurate. The status quo doesn't even approach how bad things could get with Trump. I didn't feel this way about Bush, I didn't feel this way about McCain, I didn't feel this way about Romney. Trump is that awful. I don't like Clinton but she's not even close to being on that level and not close to being as terrible as she's made out to be.
  14. I guess they just wanted to make us nervous at the start of the game... Hopefully we can avoid doing that in our big away games 'cause it's gonna make the opposing crowds go nuts.
  15. So, the toilet has always been a mystery to me and I've tried to keep it that way. But for reasons I won't explain here I've had to learn about the water hose attachment thing and I had to take it off. Unfortunately, it's not wanting to screw back into the valve. Should it be difficult to screw it back in? If it is difficult, does that mean I should get a new hose? It just will not screw in there. I'll twist it several times and then pull up on it and it hasn't even gotten started. I tried it with a flexible hose and it was fine so I know I'm understanding what I'm supposed to be doing. (The problem with the flexible hose is no matter which end I screw on first, it ends up as a coil and I want it to be straighter). Is there any reason I shouldn't use a flexible one? It works fine right now but I want the original straight hose to work. Maybe the problem is just that it's wet, but that seems like it'd always be a problem. I have a feeling half of this is going to wind up in out of context quotes.

  17. It definitely seems that way. But I wonder how many of those parents paid their own way BECAUSE their son was already very serious about the offer and/or wanted to commit? Time will tell, but I think one can assume it won't hurt. You might be right but it will absolutely help us compared to most other schools. Most teams have many 4 and 5 star recruits in their home states. It was easy for them to get the parents there. It was always hard for us before. Even looking at our bordering states there aren't a huge number of them except maybe in Missouri and Colorado but nothing like Ohio California Texas and SEC country.
  18. Maybe he should play against the old coaches then. Also, seeing articles like this and the one about the 2013 don't make the approach seem business-like. did you read the article? guess just different interpretations of attitude Dude. I'm just trying to generate some drama where there is none. I still long for the year when we played Washington (the first time).

  21. There are so many stupid things about this one tweet. a) that's not why he was cradling the football. He was about to cross the goal line. Pretty normal. b) he was on his way to his first NFL TD and wanted to make sure. c) let's assume it had ANYTHING to do with that: well, Janovich is in his first NFL game and he's a f*ing fullback and has already run 22 yards. NFL running backs RARELY have runs that long and fullbacks almost never do, so of course he was expecting someone to catch up and for it not to really happen. (Except, again, that was not why he was cradling the football).
