that does seem far fetched... everytime that i've ever talked to bowman,(once or twice) he was always one of the most polite "real" people on the team... I can't seem him saying that at all.. if you believe what yo usay its ok...oh well...back to the real story on bowman...i don't see him leaving for a couple reasons... 1...his family isn't really hurting for money, at least that we know of...his dad was a military guy and they usually do ok...he went to a military prep school in NM 2...he's seemed pretty team oriented...he isn't going to come in here and preach about team and leave... 3...he hasn't really proven anything here that he can play pro ball...he had a good game against michigan...really thats about it 4... who would not want to keep playing for the scarlet and cream !!! I was pretty impressed with the big 12 officials last year when they threw out the ENTIRE student section... on national television...that way the entire nation can see how horrible they are.

The hate between these teams is mutual after last years debacle in boulder... I agree with looking at things objectivly cmb, but do you honestly think that our defense is what lost that game for us... i believe it would be the man that has thrown far more interceptions than td;s in his career, here and @ NC. You're right our defense was better that year...but that was in 04...this is a new team... i don't see them beating us...it could be another close nail biter, just because it's a rivalry game. well i think that danny woodhead proves that kids can get over looked...franky never talked to the kid about any scholly...just hey you should walk on...now look at him, leading all NCAA in rushing... same size as cory ross...but with, i believe more speed...no scholly...should we blame it on race, i dont quite think so...this isn't the 50's anymore

he;s the second player on the team to get shot this year that has been reported... there was another incident with a drive by type of shooting... the miami player that was being shot at even returned fire....my question is WHAT THE HECK ARE THESE KIDS DOING WITH GUNS? this issue needs to be looked at by the administration of the school and coach coker... i would not stand for that crap as a coach...those kids would be kicked off the team..they need someone that is a disciplinarian as a coach...seems as though coker gets pushed around by his players... this is out of control

remember you can't try and "sell" him here..you just have to be purely informational... sure you already knew that but be careful the NCAA is pretty ridiculous in what you can and can't say to these kids... i don't know if i would want to go to ISU now...they look like they could be heading into shambles... i've heard rumors that barney very well could be gone at the end of the year. if i were phillip bates i would come here... think of the situation goin on here...program surely on the rise(granted we've had a trip or two...but at least we've won a conference game) his best friend in niles paul is coming here... the kid is a pure athlete...could play wr or cb or even at safety if we put some size in the kid... i would be all about nebraska...

new man law... ratify and sign it in... no man may switch teams/loyalties to that team/ or have ANOTHER TEAM...they must stick it out through the good times and the bad... It's ok to feel good about something one week and different the next...we have to "stay the course" and be patient...it's all good...

look at the cu game as a potential suckfest for recruiting as well... idont know about you guys but my family comes first...thats the day after thanksgiving...i dont know how early these kids come in on that friday but that day is devoted to family and close friends. I wouldn't leave them early to travel across the country to see a school. I would however travel to kc to watch the huskers play

I'm sure this all goes back to the DUI incident this summer. Keller does party a lot but that doesn't mean that he doesn't work hard either..as long as they're responsible and safe...who cares that they're being normal college kids. i could care less if keller is a party animal as long as he stays out of trouble and stays safe. i totally agree with the post... we just have to be patient and let the boys play... Sh@$ happens and things didn't work well for us those two games... but we are still in place to win the big 12 north and get another shot at texas. I hate the sunday morning posters that have never played football and think that they know what they're talking about. i have played football and realize the task given to these young men. stay behind them cause you're going to look dumb when you're proved wrong.( we are for real...not quite the 90's)but we'll win 9 this year...you wait and see

I think that blitzing 8 and drop in coverage would be great if they weren't running with three receivers that had a definate size advantage over our corners... i think in theory its a great idea..but we don't have the secondary todo something like that yet. I think if we do we pull grixby and get thenarse or somebody with some height that can keep up with guys. BLITZING 8 and leaving wide open receivers will get us smoked for 6
