  1. And there are court documents on LP. What's your point?
  2. What the flip are you talking about? Lame? For what? I'm talking about a hometown sport. Living in Omaha and following....let's say....the NY Mets. Not the same level of passion if it's not in your hometown/state. You Husker fans have an inferiority complex all of the sudden.
  3. Dude, you hit it on the head. Some (not all) don't know what it's like to have more than just Husker football going. Cardinals in the playoffs Blues started the season in Sweden with two wins and come home for the home opener. Mizzou totally demolishing the Huskers... All in the same night. I have some of my fellow St. Louis buddies coming over to my Omaha crib and its going to be one hella sports night.
  4. Missouri will win the Big XII when they hire a real defensive coordinator. They do well from time to time (I expect they'll do all right against Nebraska), but when they face a potent offense they absolutely collapse. You have to respect the direction their program is going, but I foresee a resurgent Nebraska long before Missouri takes the crown if their defensive woes aren't corrected. It may involve a staff overhaul on that side of the ball. They told their Defensive Coordinator last year (Eberflus) to take a hike. A new one in charge this year.
  5. Oh my God those are funny. Even though you're crackin' on my Tigers, it's still funny. Kudos.
  6. LMFAO...I'm glad a Husker fan called him out on the 'KNOW' mistake. If I would have pointed it out, I would have been crucified.
  7. LMFAO....the funniest post here!! Nice job. Classic. And Knapp....you're offended by Lawrence Phillips references? That's choice. And here you have jammed us on 'booger' jokes, meth jokes and other assorted off-color humor. Nice job. Were you with Scott Frost when he was hiding in the closet or what?????
  8. How did the Mizzou-Kansas game have far bigger implications than the Mizzou-Nebraska game? Mizzou already clinched the Big XII North before playing Kansas. In essence, the game meant nothing...zero....zilch....nada. On the other hand, Mizzou beat Nebraska. Mizzou edged out the Bugeaters for the Big XII North on a tiebreaker. What was the tie-breaker you ask? Oh geez....the head to head matchup between the Tigers and Huskers. Hmmph. Still telling me this game isn't a MUST win for either team? Especially Bo??!! Since he's on the business end of a 2 game downturn. so if you hadnt lost the KU game is there a nead for that tiebreaker? So what's your point? If Bo hadn't had his a$$ handed to him in Lincoln, you would have won first in the North.

  10. Tiger Tim, even though you are a Missouri fan, I couldn't agree more with your post. It's going to be one heck of a game. Missouri has even given Nebraska fits in Columbia when they had inferior personnel. Make no mistake about this game it will be huge for Bo. Joe, Thanks for seeing the light. See if you can enlighten KNAPP & CAPTAIN 'NOT SO' OBVIOUS. Two days away and this is the most anxious I have felt for a Mizzou game in years.
  11. I've been here a week or two. It ain't gonna happen.
  12. Holy Smokes. If there is any coach in ANY sport, on any level, that goes into a game that he doesn't think he can win, he should be fired. Unless of course it's the Underwater Basket Weaving team against Florida.
  13. I think you're the first person that has spelled out the whole state of Missouri without botching it. Congrats. What's a Sker anyway?
  14. That's presuming Gabbert ever sees Suh coming. Or Allen. Or Crick. Or Compton. Or Turner. Or Meredith. Or Hagg. Presuming these guys are even still playing after the 1st quarter when they suffer whiplash from watching Gabbert gun tight spirals past their heads. By the way, watch for Compton to rethink his decision to play for the Huskers and transfer back to God's country in 2010. LOL..... On another note: 1620 featured this initial post on their radio show this afternoon. They were making fun of it and the reference of Helu being a 'MUDDER'. Nice job.
  15. Hey Husker B, I think my point has been made with this voting. 100+ voters and >30% think the Huskers will return to the 90's. Checkmate.
  16. Looks like I'm way out front with 50% precincts reporting..... Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kind words. Makes me all warm and tingly inside. I would also like to thank all of Tiger Nation.....whoops, can't say that. I would like to thank Tiger fans everywhere and I will do everything in my power to uphold the title of: GOLDEN TROLL of Huskerboard!
  17. Once again, thanks for all the research. Looks exhausting. What does it mean? If it was on paper, I'd wipe my butt with it. Does it really matter up to this point who has played who? If you want to bring up 'cross' stats, let's look at Virginia Tech. First of all, you keep hanging your hat on how tough their defense it, how you manhandled them for 58 minutes, hostile atmosphere, yada, yada, yada. Fact of the matter is you scored ZERO touchdowns and only manufactured FG's. Your coach had no nads to go for it on 4th & 1 and oh yeah....YOU LOST. Heck....Duke passed for >350 yards on the 'vaunted' Tech defense and passed for a couple of TD's. All this talk of out of conference schedules and how many points/yards were accumulated means squat. Going back to the original intent of this thread. Bo NEEDS this win. He can't afford to start the Big XII 0-1 and lose to Mizzou AGAIN. A win means the Huskers are back. A loss means they're treading water. This game also has major recruiting implications as well. It's on National TV.....no St. Louis/Kansas City kid wants to go to an institution that keeps getting their butt spanked on National TV by their home state's school.
  18. I love you guys. Umm...stating you love anonymous male posters on a random husker site? That's kinda "gay." Ask your wife about that, she'd probably agree. Not really. My Dad always taught me not to HATE anyone. I'm a lover, not a fighter. I love everybody, even my enemies. As for Tyler Gabbert, nobody is confirming or denying what I thought I read. That he wanted to be the only QB in the 2010 class.....or Bo promised him he was the only QB....or something of that sort. I need to see if I can find it.
  19. Another logical poster. I predicted in another thread that the Huskers would finish 6-6. But that was before Griffin got knocked out for the season. My prediction was upped to 7-5. 8-4 maybe....but absolutely no more. You guys are facing a tough schedule. But I'm derailing this thread. I repeat. Bo needs this game....
  20. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Somebody is posting with a clear head. This is not only a game that is a must to win the North, it is also a game for Bo's psyche. If the Bugeaters lose to Mizzou....AGAIN....that would make it three losses in a row (5 of 7) for the Huskers and two losses for Bo individually. The more the losses start to pile up against a certain 'rival', the harder it is to swing it the other way. (See how the Huskers used to wipe their shoes on Mizzou in the 80's and 90's) This IS a big DEFINING game for Bo and Huskers. You can call me ridiculous, you can spit your beer out, you can call me names, you can say I'm your winner of the Golden Troll (thanks, by the way)....I don't give two flips. I'm looking at this without red shades.
  21. Since when have facts gotten in the way of Missouri or their fans? Or twisted/taken out of context words!?!?!? Go read the article and see where I "twisted" anything here. This was one of the writer's bullet points, in its entirety. If anyone "twisted" anything, it's your own sportswriter. But hey - thanks for playing. Your fascination with me is frightening. Either put me on ignore or don't respond to my posts. I was talking about YOU....YOU....get it?
