  1. People need to give Taylor another chance. He has looked terrible these past few games, but early in the season he was playing extremely well and in the Oklahoma State game and the Missouri game he was throwing the ball quite well. Let's see what he can do when he's healthy again. My only concern is that I truly think the other players on the team don't like him, and I think that along with the high expectations and critical fan base have caused what was once a confident/cocky kid turn into a kid trying to force the action and not trusting his instincts. Two plays stood out in my mind: 1) After Taylor threw the TD pass, he barely celebrated with anybody. 2) When Taylor got hurt, literally NOBODY went over to ask how he's doing or comfort him.
  2. I'm going to pretend this thread said the most amusing play. I got a kick out of Cody Green coming in at the 1 yard line. Yeah, I know Taylor got injured, but the staff always puts Cody in no-win situations and my frustration boiled into amusement because otherwise I would have killed somebody. Oh, I also got a kick out of our offense scoring on themselves. Think about it for a second; only we could do that. Our offense gave up 9 points last night. Our offense scored MORE points for the other team. SMH.
  3. I'm still a fan of Taylor, but at least Cody throws the ball, literally, which is something Taylor hasn't been able to do of late.
  4. Does anyone know where I can find the post game press conference?
  5. That was the worst game I've ever seen. How come I constantly find myself saying the offense can't possibly get any worse under the Watson regime? If Bo doesn't fire Watson this summer, then I want Bo gone. We aren't winning sh#t with this mediocre offensive coordinator.
  6. Our defense, by their standards, have played TERRIBLE tonight, and yet they've only given up 19 points, of which 10 of them are the offense's fault. So basically our D gave up 9 points. Our offense is -2. Awesome.
  7. ONLY OUR OFFENSE COULD f'ing SCORE ON ITSELF. f#*k YOU WATSON.
  8. HAHA I can't help but laugh at this situation. Cody gets put in when we're at the one. Typical. Lol.
  9. Keep giving Burkhead the damn ball. Don't let Taylor screw it up. Don't let Helu screw it up. Don't screw it up, Shawn.
  10. This game is a living nightmare. On one side we have a dominant defense who gives their all and plays good, hard nosed football 99% of the time. On the other end of the field are a bunch of guys who aren't well coached and are showing no heart. This sucks. If we have to lose tonight, I want it to be a blowout loss. I'm tired of Watson and a shocking blowout loss would do the trick.
  11. Great job, Shawn. You have called a great game. I along with every single person in Nebraska will write you a letter of recommendation for the next sorry ass team that wants you. Taylor isn't the problem, guys. He isn't being coached, and Watson has no idea how to utilize his strengths consistently. Michael Vick would look like crap out there tonight.
  12. I hope he makes it. He sounds like a good kid. He deserves to be here, and judging by his work ethic he'll be a hell of a player too.
  13. I'm not familiar with turf toe. Is there a chance we never see that type of burst from TMagic again?
  14. We aren't going to lose this game. The guys are going to come out motivated and put on a show. Read Adi's twitter site if you want the inside stuff.
  15. This is a fitting end to a bizarre season. I hope the guys play their hearts out and run up the score.
  16. Washington? I was planning on going to the bowl game, not anymore. This is completely deflating; I wouldn't be surprised if the team came out flat.
  17. LaMichael James. We were pretty damn close to recruiting him.
  18. A very good player, who could potentially be great. He'll definitely be playing on Sundays. +1 for his press conference comment. Dude sounds like a humble guy.
  19. It looked like a lot of those zone-reads were predetermined. Taylor looked like Bo after the A&M game. A scared animal trying to hide. He panicked, period. It was clear as day that Taylor wasn't healthy. What makes Taylor T-Mac is his breakaway speed; it's what made him our starting QB. We gave him the reigns in the hopes he would develop, and while he's progressed it's clear he still needs work. Next year should be fun.
  20. Let's take a look at Bo's history guys: 1) In Bo's first year, the defense was mediocre but was much improved from the previous year. We all know how good they are now. 2) This is Nebraska's first year running the zone-read offense. Like before, it's had its ups and downs, but has showed promise. Let's give it another year or two and see how it looks once guys like Turner, Green, etc. get their feet wet.
  21. I have a couple buddies who go to Michigan, so obviously I'd rather play them. It would be fun to rub Iowa's faces in the dirt, though.
  22. He needs to stay. More importantly, he needs to make some friends on the team. I know he's probably got a couple, but he needs every guy on the team to have his back.
  23. Our entire fan base could have guarded Oklahoma's wide receivers and they still would have got open. That's what happens when the opposing quarterback has 2 hours to dissect the defense with absolutely no pressure.
  24. Does anyone else think Taylor looked uncomfortable? It's like he knew the other players didn't want him on the team and it was affecting him. He didn't look confident in his abilities. Before Taylor got hurt during the A&M game I kept thinking he was going to pull something amazing and help the team win. There was no magic tonight.
