  1. Nebraska wins 3 sets to none. Great job ladies.
  2. Nebraska up 2 sets to none at the break.
  3. Isn't Servite supposed to be pretty good? I think Servite has won two games. They got shutout 42-0 by Las Vegas Bishop Gorman. They won their last game against St Paul, 24-0. Mater Dei however is a different story. They are ranked #40 in the nation by Maxpreps.
  4. Even though Johnny Stanton won't be playing this evening, if you want you can still watch his Rancho Santa Margarita Eagles play tonight against Servite at the following link. The game will be on at 9PM CST. Next week they will be televised on Fox Sports West when they play Mater Dei. The Mater Dei game will be at 9:30 PM CST. http://www.foxsports.../pages/prepzone
  5. Wolpin ices it with a TD run. Maybe I spoke to early. It only gives them an 8 point lead with an extra point. Now it's over. 35-27 final.
  6. What a play by Johnny Stanton. Had him for a safety and he got loose and ran for a first down.
  7. Finally, a defensive stop. 21-21 third quarter. Santa Margarita with the ball.
  8. If you aren't watching Johnny Stanton right now, you are missing a good game. His team trailed tonight for the first time this season, but have just taken the lead 7-6 in the first quarter. You can watch at the following link. http://www.foxsportswest.com/pages/prepzone
  9. You can once again watch Johnny Stanton's Santa Rancho Margarita Eagles play this week on the following link. This week Prepzone features Santa Margarita vs St. Bonaventure. St. Bonaventure is the number 29 team in the nation according to Maxpreps. The game will be Friday evening at 9PM CST. http://www.foxsports.../pages/prepzone
  10. I changed from Dish Network to Direct TV today. It's not that I had a problem with Dish Network programming or service, it's just that without BTN on certain Saturday's I can't watch Nebraska football. It's for the greater good of Nebraska fans that I do this. Someone needs to provide an impetus for Dish to get serious in negotiating with BTN. I told Dish several weeks ago and again today that they are going to lose a lot of Nebraska fans if they don't get something done by Saturday, and probably a lot more Big Ten fans as well. They just lost me. I had just upgraded to HD two months ago and agreed to a 24 month service agreement. On the internet it says that you have to pay 17.50 a month early termination fee. I found out today when I cancelled it is only 10 dollars a month for a total of 220 dollars. If you change over to direct TV prior to 10/3/2012, you will receive a prepaid $200.00 VISA debit card and you will also get rebates good for the first two years of service (instead of paying $63.99 a month for the Choice package, you pay $34.99 a month for the first 12 months) and a lesser deduction for the next 12 months. Since I was being charged $130.53 a month for Dish Network I more than make up for the $220.00 early termination fee since my bill for the next 12 months with Direct TV will be $72.99. Living in Texas, I don't get BTN as part of America's Top 200 as you would if you live in a Big Ten state, so I have to pay an additional $9 a month for the multisports package. With Direct TV, BTN is provided as part of the Choice package, so it doesn't cost me anything extra to get BTN. I do have to pay for the return shipping of the Hopper, Joey's and remote controls, which will cost $17 if I use the prepaid shipping labels or whatever it costs if I take it to UPS and pay for it myself. Hope I didn't bore anyone, I just wanted to let you know what my experience was. *Almost forgot. You also receive the NFL package where you get to watch every NFL football game for the first year. You have to remember to cancel it prior to the start of the next year though. You also get the free movie package HBO, MAX, etc for three months and again you have to remember to cancel it prior to the fourth month so you don't get charged for it.
  11. I can't watch any more. 58-0 with 3 minutes left in the second quarter.
  12. If you want to watch Johnny Stanton play tonight, the game will be aired live on the following link. This is according to his high school football web site eaglesfootball.com. The game will be aired at 9 PM CST. http://www.foxsportswest.com/pages/prepzone
  13. Here is what I found. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/8371735/nebraska-chase-rome-quits-disagreement-role
  14. Rancho Santa Margarita beat Trabuco Hills 55-0. Johnny Stanton passed for 3 TD's and ran for 2 TD's, one a 52 yard run. http://www.maxpreps.com/qwixcore/game.aspx?gameid=30add6eb-d438-4740-827f-82824a59f53a&ssid=37631434-bc40-4d46-a7c5-1042c42e338c
  15. In answer to your question, who was the fastest defensive end ever at Nebraska, I would suggest it was Neil Smith, who at 6'4" and 260, ran a 4.55 forty. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Smith_(American_football)
  16. Johnny Stanton leads Santa Margarita to 35-6 victory over Jordan. http://www.maxpreps.com/news/tfbzFjiwEUeK7VAJ-kT0WQ/game-recap--stantons-feet-and-arm-lead-santa-margarita-past-jordan.htm
  17. FAU wins 7-3, no thanks to the offense that fumbled twice inside the opponents' 10 yard line, the special teams that fumbled three times, twice inside their own 10 yard line. Carl's defense stepped up. Wagner is a FCS school, so FAU will have a more difficult opponent next week for sure.
  18. Defense kept Wagner from scoring. Still 3-0. Halftime.
  19. Carl Pelini's defense is doing pretty good considering he has no offense. Their main problem right now is their kick/punt return man fumbled a kick out of bounds at the 2 yard line and he just let a punt hit him inside the 7 yard line and Wagner recovered the muff. Wagner was ahead 3-0 at the time of the muffed punt. It's on ESPN760 if anyone wants to listen.
