Ya, any grip ive ever used were exactly the same all around. Unles theres some words on the grip you want to line up i cant see how it will make a difference. The putter, yes, any other club, dont see it.

Hes using grips with lettering and a pattern. Of course you're not gonna want to put it on backwords, but you could, and its not gonna hurt. Its just easier to do that way all the clubs look the same and are nice and neat. But if you try to true each one perfectly to the face you will drive yourself nuts. I dont align my hands with grip lettering/pattern. Ive been golfing my whole life and can just tell how i want my face by feel and looks with my hand grip.
