A lot of you have good points but it seems to me that more than a few of you are still a little butt-hurt that Bo made that one statement about our "Fans" the fact that he was right doesn't seem to matter- if you leave before the game is complete you deserve to be called out, I think his comments were pretty mild

I am praying for the anti-Bo crowd to NOT show up next year so we can put to rest the sell out streak and that "Greatest Fans" BS I predict the sell out streak will end next year and that will actually be a blessing for the program moving forward

Bo is a smart man- he has about eight million reasons to defecate on the floor on his way out- Did anyone of you who want Bo gone care to even listen to the players who week after week told you what a good man Bo is? that they'd run through walls for him- Kenny Bell said he'd be willing to fight Satan (Perlman) for Bo- so the guy is emotional, so he says what's on his mind, and calls out idiots - he doesn't suffer fools, and I like that, I guess old Harv will get some mealy mouth coach and then with the mealy mouthed AD he can be completely in charge- bully for him, You guys (BO haters), along with Perlman will never get it, winning is obviously important, but its about more than winning, When we look for the national or local media to form our opinions, or worse, we kneel to them because of some sort of shame that they fabricate, then we have no spines and we need to added to the compost pile. The real story is, why is Harvey still our chancellor. So called "fans" that keep saying that we're Nebraska we expect more, seriously need to examine the need to be so invested in a short term solution to a problem that is base on spurious reasons.

I'm glad you know the reasons we get blown out and the cause as well- However, you'd be wrong in my opinion- I will say the reasons we get blown out is the other team scores 30+ more points than we do and it is because we either didn't score 30+ more or allowed 30+ more than we scored, also I feel Bo should be named imperial husker pooh-bah should he win 9-10 more games next season.

We're better stocked on offense- better recievers, better backs- equal, maybe a little worse in the o line and QB, well we know what "stars" did for callahan at QB, other than a JC recruit callahan missed on all his QB's and left a lowly 3 star sitting on the bench untill he had no choice- as far as defense goes the only thing that callahan (blake) did was bring in Suh- Bo has been very unlucky with injuries on the defensive line. Over-all i'd say a new coach would be in pretty good shape, but if the mom's basement crowd would JSTFU and play their video games, we wouldn't be talking about any of this yeah, Pierre Allen, Phillip Dillard, Barry Turner, Zack Potter, Zach Bowman, Larry Asante, Ricky Thenerse, Jared Crick, Eric Hagg, Baker Steinkuhler, Cameron Meredith, and Prince Amukamara were all washouts recruited by Callahan that never amounted to crap (sarcasm) One could make a case for Bo's staff making coaching up a two of those players- ie Hagg-Prince were only 3 stars out of HS- Baker, Potter, and Jared would've come to NU no matter who was coaching- anyway I guess the other few were good players sort of like what Bo has been recruiting one defense.

Totally agree...things will have to change if Nebraska ever wants to contend for a NC again....Bo will not get us there. The reason most of us are still a little butthurt is the fact that we played the third best team from the other division and just got taken behind the shed and abused over and over again. This was our best chance to win a conference championship in a long time and possibly in the near future. I have a gut feeling Meyer is going to be Bo's Switzer to TO. You know why Wisconsin won? they play power football and they mixed it up with some trickery. We play finesse football and when things aren't going well then that's why we get the ass kickings we do. Power football is what top teams run. They never give up on the run, they wear down most opponents, they give their defense a breather, they rarely get blown out. hmm.... i remember US running this during the 90's and during the 09 and 10 seasons. Those two seasons under Bo were the most succcessful he's had. Also Martinez seemed to break long runs 2-4 times a game then more than once a game now. Mabye Bo needs to go back to the offense scheme that got him were he his today and why we thought better days were ahead of us at the point in time. Oregon is a power running team? tOSU? I could go on a bit - I think when Burkhead was healthy, he ran a bit of "power" and since you didn't clearly define power, I'd like to challenge the term as well as another one people here seem to be using- "finesse" is finesse defined as a few QB read option plays? or is it a Tighend finding a soft spot in the middle of the field in zone cover? not sure other than a little blocking that might be called finesse in nature, how we've become a "finesse" offense. Wisconsin won because they ran to the corners, with some mis-direction, and having had 3 weeks to look over film from the OSU and to some extent the UCLA games, it was only when we "adjusted" to the 7 man lines and off-tackle runs, did they have any sucess in their, as you call it, "power" game- which I guess, you'd call runs between the tackles
