Axl_sued_me
Maybe the players got too comfortable playing cupcake competition like Nicholl St., LA Tech, and Troy. That they did not know how to adjust and step it up for Big XII play. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Who knows there is so many if, ands, and buts that we could be here forever talking about it, but the bottom line is we won and that's all that matters!!!! Quote Link to comment
808Husker in KCMO
I love cupcakes! Edit- My first use of a smiley! Quote Link to comment
Hawkeyehusker
A close win like this in OT is good for the team right before a road game. Both the offense and defense will be much more focused next week in Ames. I don't think it's the cupcake factor. Kansas just has a good run defense. Their secondary kind of sucks but their front seven compensates by putting a lot of pressure on the QB. They had the best run defense in the Big 12 last season. Tonight shows it wasn't a fluke. They are doning something right down there. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Yeah and it's not screwing chickens either....................j/k but seriously they were better than I thought they would be................ Quote Link to comment

herbers42
Regardless of who the opponent is.............a win in Overtime does wonders for your confidence and adds an element to our confidence. We know we can win in overtime and play under pressure. At this point in the season a win is a win. ON Monday it does not matter if we won by 42 or by 3. The win column is all that matters. Bugeater
Or maybe the fans were just too used to cupcakes. This is our team right now, so buckle up because it's going to be a bumpy ride! Quote Link to comment
