Maybe NU was just too used to cupcakes.

A close win like this in OT is good for the team right before a road game. Both the offense and defense will be much more focused next week in Ames. I don't think it's the cupcake factor. Kansas just has a good run defense. Their secondary kind of sucks but their front seven compensates by putting a lot of pressure on the QB. They had the best run defense in the Big 12 last season. Tonight shows it wasn't a fluke. They are doning something right down there.

Maybe the players got too comfortable playing cupcake competition like Nicholl St., LA Tech, and Troy. That they did not know how to adjust and step it up for Big XII play.

You'd have a point if this was the first year we played cupcakes.

Regardless of who the opponent is.............a win in Overtime does wonders for your confidence and adds an element to our confidence. We know we can win in overtime and play under pressure. At this point in the season a win is a win. ON Monday it does not matter if we won by 42 or by 3. The win column is all that matters.

Or maybe KU's a little better than we think

That's basically just summing up what I am saying.

Or........maybe the Husker's aren't as good as we thought.
