adc7236
KANSAS STATE WINS 45-42 Maybe the critics/TV announcers will get off our cranks about the South being superior to the North divison with this and our win today. Quote Link to comment

Shadow_Husker
So with the horns going down today What does that do for us? And does that change who we will play in the big 12 Champ? Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
It seemed like UT may have been thinking ahead? Or had a bit of over confidence going into the game? Whatever the case, they looked flat and when McCoy went out, it went down hill from there. I hate to admit it and I'll probably be severly admonished, but Freeman looked pretty good tonight. homie19
The Running Back throwing a TD pass. Do you think Prince will send Callahan a thank you card for that play? Did callahan invent the half-back pass? Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
I watched most of this game. What happened to Texas? Yes, McCoy got injured and that was huge but TX still put up 42 points. Did anyone in their right mind think KSU would put up 45 points? They were just chucking the ball and running gadet plays all over Texas...couldn't believe my eyes! I hate to say it but Freeman looked really good...he was working the Texas defense...it is scary he has found his stride this early and just beat the defending national champs. I'm glad we worked him over this year and glad we get KSU in Lincoln next year. It sort of sickens me to know Freeman was ours...but it sure makes our rivalry with KSU even more instense. KSU was also laying the wood on defense...TX (i.e. McCoy) and others were just getting drilled and Texas was taking sacks and fumbling. We need to have that defensive intensity back with our defense and we will be in good shape. To me this was the biggest upset of the day...bigger than the Auburn or Cal losses. Quote Link to comment
