Why do people not wear red??

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to figure it out...really.

It's called the Sea of Red still, right?

I was looking in a recent catalog I got from NebraskaRedZone.com....and they had some framed pictures you could buy. One of the ones I really liked was an aerial shot from the 50 yard line. It showed the entire stadium in a horizontal view. It looked great, BUT......

there was 50% red and 50% white in it!!!

What the hell is that? Why is there ANY white in the stadium?

So then I go and look at another picture to consider buying. And this is from the 1995 era....and there is a huge blob of white in the photo. It's the band!!

Why does the band wear white during home games!??!??

SEA OF RED!!!!!!!!!!!!

WEAR RED!!

UGH

I honestly would feel ashamed to buy this poster, hang it up, tell all my friends about the sea of red and then they see it and say "I thought it was a sea of red....looks like a sea of red/white."

I know no one from here would dare wear white on home game days (HELL, even away games unless the the other team wore the exact same color for their home jerseys).

So I hereby pronounce, that it is okay for all Husker fans wearing Red to go up to "Husker" fans wearing non-Red on a gameday and yell in their face "What the F$#& is with you NOT wearing Red?!!??!?! GO BUY A FRIGGIN' RED SHIRT! HERE I WILL PAY FOR IT!!"

the end

SCrew you guys, I'll wear black if I want :)

no you won't....you'll wear red...or a hundred of us will beat you down!

SEA OF RED

not sea of black

What the hell is black? Hasn't that died down yet? Even the Blackshirts don't wear black on game days. They still wear the team colors. Let the team decide what the fans should wear. In fact, there has been a post just a few days ago of an e-mail someone got from the captains saying "Wear RED!"

Friggin' wear red!!!!

You wear black this week and you'll be supporting Colorado.
