Jarred04 Posted March 23, 2007 Share Posted March 23, 2007 well, after keeping with them for 10 innings, Mizzou pulled ahead with 4 runs in the 11th. Watson pitched 10 innings allowing 0 earned runs. Our achilles this time was stranding runners, lack of timely offense, and 4 errors. We had chances to end the game in both the 9th and 10th innings with men on third but we just couldn't seal the deal. To give mizzou credit, their starter pitched very well, and they just hung in their long enough to break it open. Beautiful day for a game, but I hated to see a good game end like it did.
