chamrocck
Player: Chase Clement Hometown: Thibodaux, LA Position: DE Height: 6'5" Weight: 240 lbs. 40 time: 4.78 Visit Date: Scholarships offered: Nebraska, Oklahoma, Florida, LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas Favorites: Rankings/Stars: Rivals: Bid Red Report: Assessing the talent: From Scout: Despite playing out of position (MLB) you can see the type of player Clement is. He’s active, physical and moves well. Clement has a great frame and long arms and will one day be an end or perhaps grow into a defensive tackle. He shows some quickness and good instincts. Clement is also the type of player that plays 100 miles per hour on every play. (Jr.) Clement was district MVP on the defensive side of the ball and was an honorable mention all-state selection. He recorded 79 tackles and 3 sacks playing middle linebacker and pulled down 12 receptions for 182 yards and 2 TDs at tight end. Clement will put his hand on the ground and move to defensive end for his senior year and that is where he is projected to play at the next level. Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 2% Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
could this be the first kid we have pulled out of Louisiana in years? he will be a tough get. Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
According to Rivals he is going to narrow down his choices. I'd like to do battle with LSU on this kid. Hope he gives us a really good look...I think he'll like what he sees. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
could this be the first kid we have pulled out of Louisiana in years? he will be a tough get. Terrence Moore signed just this past February, and was from Louisiana. http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewprospect.a...493&Sport=1 Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
Eh...looks like we were never able to get in better with this kid and/or else his interest wasn't there in looking at schools outside the SEC. ESPN reporting he will announce in Feb. and has final list of LSU, Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss, LA Tech, and Tulane. Gotta think this kid will wind up at LSU... Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
I wonder if this is a kid that would visit NU if Pelini becomes coach. He had lots of interest in LSU before but as we know Pelini and Miles both are likely not at LSU next season. I'd start recruiting Clement again. Quote Link to comment
