huskerdude171
He doesn't need to go, maybe they can suspend him for the Ball State game but we need him and so I don't really want him to be suspended. Quote Link to comment

bethelbacker
I agree. He had his chance and he blew it. I hate to say it, but he's not going to be playing for Nebraska again. His best chance is to transfer to a D1-AA school and try it there or sit out a year and serve his punishment and then appeal to Callahan to play next season. Quote Link to comment
Ohio Pete
I think Tressel only gave Booze-isari a 2 game suspension for his DUI. Of course, he didn't have the prior bar fight , but one of the games was against Michigan. Edit: Stupid College Paper registration Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
well, my only question is where do you draw the line? 2, 3 times? and are ALL the rest of the players going to be allowed 2 or 3 screw ups as well? and how the hell would that look, if a bunch of our guys would do the same thing and be allowed to get off with minor hand slaps? damn it, this whole thing is what leads to the development of NFL hoodlums! always a damn excuse for piss poor behavior. we can't expect to see better role models in college or the NFL as long as we baby these damn athletes. off my soapbox for now, but just look back at all the excuses we have made for piss poor behavior. we only have ourselves to blame for what we see playing in the league now, Vick, Johnson and a bunch of the thugs on the Bengals. just sucks!
