A starter for two full seasons and parts of another at open end, Moore concluded his career ranked on the Huskers’ career top-10 list for tackles for loss with 38.    #44 Calvin Jones  Preseason Heisman Trophy candidate and All-American I-back Calvin Jones had a rough start in 1993, injuring his knee in the first game and missing the next two contest. He went on to record his second consecutive 1,000 yard season and moved into second all-time at Nebraska and 12th in the Big 8 with 3,153 career rushing yards and 40 touchdowns, despite starting just 12 games in his stellar three-year career. He average 105.1 yards per game in his career with 16, 100-yard rushing days and was a consensus All-Big 8 back and a Third-Team All-American for the second consecutive year. Jones was inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame in 2004.    #44 Jay Foreman  • Three-year starter at Nebraska, posting 233 career tackles, which is 12th on the Cornhuskers’ all-time list. • Earned second-team All Big-12 honors as a junior, making 61 tackles and helping the team win a share of the National Championship. • Majored in business administration.  In 2006 Foreman was signed by the 49ers (12-5) as insurance for linebacker Derek Smith who had been nursing a sore hamstring. He played on special teams against Seattle (12-14), but suffered a knee injury and did not return to the game. Foreman was then placed on injured reserve (12-18).  #44 Mike Knox  A four-year letterman in 1981, 1982, 1983 and 1985, linebacker Mike Knox earned All-Big Eight honors after serving as a team co-captain in 1985. After an All-Big Eight season as a junior in 1983, Knox missed all of 1984 with a knee injury. He bounced back to finish second on the team with 65 total tackles with a sack, two interceptions and a pair of fumble recoveries in 1985. He finished his career with 245 total tackles, including 12 tackles for loss, two sacks and six interceptions.
