Special Teams looking good

Recommended Posts

One of the things that impressed me about looking at Prince's vidoeos was that he's good at following his blockers. he can accelerate through the holes but there's got to be some holes. His opponents will be a lot better than in HS where it's a lot easier for an outstanding player to be a one man show. Not saying he isn't good, just agreeing that it takes a whole team, and more so the higher the level of play.

I dunno - on the occassions when the highlights showed him getting hit, he did three things well - he kept his legs moving, he moved the pile, and he always fell forward when finally stopped.

I realize this is a hightlight film, so you can't judge just on the film alone, but those are traits that tend to "be there" or they aren't.

Not only is he good at following them, he's good at finding them and getting in the right position to utilize them.

Damn, that video has me pumped up. :woo

Ya, he does "set up" his blocks well.
