BGREDSTUCKN IA
I think he has a good enough understanding of the game that he will be a good coach. Like a GA somewhere at a D-IAA university. I don't think he has the tools to play in the NFL or in arena ball. Good luck to him! Quote Link to comment

KansasHusker
Is there a link? That is great news if it is true!!!! Maybe it wasn't official when people were talking about it awhile back, but I've seen him in spring practice pics...so he is at practice with the team. It's likely thats what he's going to do. BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
I found this in Keller's interview from the first day of practice. I'll try and find something that outright says he's a volunteer coach. On former Husker quarterback Zac Taylor helping out (Listen) “Zac has tremendous knowledge of this offense and obviously he’s tested it under fire, so Zac being around is great. He’s a great resource just to have as far as knowing where to go and what to do. You can always know what to do on the chalkboard, but in the game compared to scrimmage and practice is a lot different. You can talk to the coaches, but it helps to have a guy like Zac who knows it as well as the coaches that has been in the game. There’s experience there that is valuable, so I will go to Zac a lot if I need it.” link Quote Link to comment
I Bleed Scarlet & Cream
I think he's a graduate assistant for the huskers now. Quote Link to comment
