Ryan
Did everyone get as sick of listening to Andre Ware spout his bs throughout the whole game as I did? You would have thought that he used to play for Wake the way that he went on and on about those last two plays. Grixby did have a hold of the guys shirt, but the ball was about 10 yards from the dude even getting a hand on it. And unless there was a different angle on Eisenhart's interception that we didn't see I didn't see the evidence to over turn that call. But of course Andre did!!! Quote Link to comment

That's because Andre is a damn moron and a horrible broadcaster!!! Quote Link to comment

Alex 4.0
yes, the announcers, particularly andre, was obviously rooting for Wake. I understand rooting for the underdog. But this was almost ridiculous. You would think the espn team would be rooting for a big nebraska win to pump up the USC broadcast a little more. Quote Link to comment
admo
The professionalism has declined in the broadcast booth over the years. The announcers enjoy the drama of an upset in the making. Musberger even tries to create it instead of keeping a cool unbiased mouth. I have learned to tune out these guys. As an abserver to the Oregon/Michigan for this point, you could hear the announcers giggling with joy each time the Ducks got a first down. These guys have an impact when calling the game and either use it for their own agenda or simply do not care. Example: If they keep repeating how such-an-such did not prepare his team, or a team's defense is not fast, eventually you will read that same stuff in the boards, hear it at the water cooler, and read it on CNN/ESPN, etc. Quote Link to comment
