I find this amazing and it speaks loudly about Callahan's respect for Osborne and I would say NU tradition in general. This is from a St. Louis paper: Earlier in the week during a press conference, Callahan was asked that in light of all the recent upsets in college football, whether he now has a much deeper appreciation for coach Osborne and his tremendous accomplishments.. There isn't even a janitor left from the Osborne days in the Nebraska Football Program. I say he didn't understand (and to a greater degree and much more responsible Steve P didn't understand) what Big Red means to Nebraskans. Shock and Awe was the name of the game when they attacked this program. This has been a terrible experiment in regime change and I don't know where or how to change the slide.
