RedCountry
Ok, I know I even predicted an OU win myself in the contest thread, but IMO I dont feel that makes me any less of a fan. Im just looking at this critically from a sports fan's perspective without bias. So I was thinking, what would it take for us to actually win this thing?? Here are a few wishes I think need to be granted for us to have a punchers chance. I wish: -More than just Ruud shows up on D -Our secondary plays like the top 3 group that they are -Callahan and co enter the 4th quarter with more than 0 timeouts -We dont have stupid ass delay of game penalites for not getting the plays in in time -We have a kicker that resembles a kicker -We gain more than .5 yds on punt returns Anyone else have any? I second all of those wishes and add that I wish: -Callahan would let Ross cram it down their throats until they prove they can stop him and then go over the top on the overrated Oklahoma secondary. 83rd in pass defense. Pedro Guerrero
Our offensive line rememers the snap count. Benard Thomas gets a couple sacks. Pilkington holds onto to the ball. Jackson gets that final block on a kickoff return. We hold Peterson under 100 yards. We block another punt. Dailey doesn't throw any interceptions. When Dailey scrambles he runs straight ahead. Seivers some how gains some more speed. Solich isn't standing on the Oklahoma sideline. Pelini runs after Callahan for running up the score. That's all I've got. Quote Link to comment

gamecocks
Don't let them return any punts or kicks back for touchdown. Don't let them block any punts or kicks either. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Dailey puts together a whole game and torches the overrated Sooners LeKevin Smith and Benard Thomas back up their smack AND THEN SOME Dyches makes every kick he attempts Panico RUNS with the ball after he gets it someone steps up and knocks the snot out of Adrian Peterson! Don't forget about Peterson and White needing to fall off the planet, plus most of the O-Line Quote Link to comment

Well...not really...everyone knows he just kept Gill on to try and satisfy the fans. 'Look we still have Turner Gill...remember him? We're still Nebraska.' It's kind of insulting to the fans and Gill if you ask me. I'd be surprised if he stays past this year. Quote Link to comment

He got passed over by Solich when he was looking for OC remember? I know he got promoted to Assistant Coach, but that was just a resume thing. He coached WR at N.Texas and SMU. Quote Link to comment
