Blackshirt
HuskerBoard Members: ------------------------------- This has been a frustrating year, and the members of this board - all of us - are passionate fans who want to see the Huskers succeed. Emotions run hot and high, and we want to read your opinions and thoughts on all subjects – that’s what this Board is all about. However, we also want this Board to be a place that actually encourages people to post their opinions. But lately we have noticed a trend towards the opposite. We want to remind you once again that this Board has rules – and those rules must be followed. First and foremost – no personal attacks against other members. We’ve seen too many posts in which someone is attacking another member. We’ve seen too many posts in which another member is called a “retard”, a “moron”, or an “a-hole”. Enough is enough. If you cannot express your opinion or engage in a debate without juvenile name-calling or personal attacks, then don’t post. Everyone has an opinion, and everyone is entitled to express that opinion. The fact that someone disagrees with your opinion is no basis to attack them. Debate them, try to prove them wrong, try to prove you’re right - but do not engage in personal attacks or name-calling. We have to remember, that whether we agree with the current direction of the program or not - we are all die-hard fans - or we wouldn't be here day and night discussing the greatest team in CF history! While we want everyone to express their opinions, there are limits on the way you can express them. While profanity is not expressly forbidden, it needs to be kept to a reasonable level. Personal attacks are not permitted at all. In short – show the class that is expected of Nebraska fans. We go to great lengths to try and keep this Board as un-moderated as possible – no one likes to think that their every move is being watched or that the slightest slip could get them banned. And we do not want to reach that level. However, if the rules are not followed, we will have no choice. Again, we realize that this has been a frustrating year, and it’s easy to let that frustration spill over into your posts. But that’s no excuse for violating the rules or for creating an atmosphere that discourages debate or posting. Take a moment to review what you’ve written before you post it. We think we have the best board around, and the greatest members - but we need your help to keep it that way. Let’s all remember that we share the same goal and interests, and treat everyone with respect. Thanks. Your faithful Mods, AR Husker Fan, DaveH, Eric the Red, Blackshirt Board Rules Link to comment
joshuavacek
I wish everyone would just stop complaining and support the huskers for once. We knew this was going to happen. Callahan is trying to install a modern offense with Solich's recruits who were suspose to run the option. Sure the first game of the year was kind of a tease, but deal with it. Have you seen our recruiting class for next year? Yea, it is #1 in the country. Have we ever had a #1 recruiting class. I don't think so. Callahan is doing what he can, but with Our Q-Back situation this year and Joe-It-Is-Almost-Intercepted-Again-Dailey we are doing the best we can. Next year we will start to look like a offense that knows what it is doing. Have patience, we have our next "Tom Osbourne" here. Have patience. Link to comment
Benard
Its Tom Osborne and bill is nothing like him. We can critize him all we and quite frankly he deserves. His coaching and his antics have been below average for supposedly the greatest coach in America according to our wonderful A.D. Link to comment

Benard
A good idea might be to lock it if you don't want us to post on here our opinions. Link to comment

Nebraska never had a 1# recruit class but they did win national titles if im not mistaken, a true coach is someone who can get the best out of every player.... If BC needs to have the best in order to coach thats not coaching that is simply the players ability to make plays. Besides you need to look at play calling and not say its because of solich recruiting, or saying that they have no talent what have you, Callahan just cant get it done less he has the a big name player behind center, and that is what is going to turn Nebraska into a team that has one good season every 4 years look for lots of rebuilding years in the future Link to comment
AR Husker Fan
While this thread was left open to permit folks to ask questions about the topic - which concerns proper behavior on the board - I think it's time to lock it. We're going far afield from the reason for the topic. Link to comment
