ssfranny
Andy Roddick was born in Omaha too...the only reason he even pretends that he's from Nebraska is the free Husker tickets now and again. Mark Richt grew up in the South and attended Miami...other than knowing where Omaha is on a map, there's probably not a whole lot of Nebraska in him anymore. Would be a great hire though... Uh actually Roddick is a HUGE husker fan. They've shown him at the US Open wearing a Husker hat and normally one of his parents have something red on. They live in Florida why would he care about getting free tickets, hes a multi millionaire. Quote Link to comment

Lonestar_Husker
Roddick still lives here in Austin. He recently did an instore appearance at Golfsmith. Yes, he is a big Husker fan. Quote Link to comment

Head Coach: Bo Pelini Bo Pelini's Resume Offensive Coordinator/Running Backs Coach: Tom Rathman Offensive Line Coach: Will Shields Tight End Coach: Joe Rudolph Wide Receivers Coach: Irving Fryar (don't know till you try it, schooled people) Irving Fryars Highlights Quarterbacks Coach: Scott Frost (at Northern Iowa as Safeties Coach) Defensive Coordinator: Mike Stoops Defensive Line Coach: Buddy Wyatt (not his fault that D-line is inexperienced) Defensive Linebackers Coach: Mike Brown Defensive Safeties Coach: Bill Busch Defensive Cornerbacks Coach: Baron Miles or Bo Pelini as HC Dear Santa, Please bring back the "Scoring Explosion". That is where he was at Stanford and in the pros after Nebraska. All of his coaching experience is also on the defensive side. Let him coach the safties and move Busch to special teams/recruiting coordinator. I do love that you kept Joe Rudolph though. He is an incredible human being (& coach) and I only hope that we can keep him on staff if we under go major changes in the staff (which I think we will). Good Job! Quote Link to comment

Husker-N-okieland
I am a Bo fan, but I have heard alot of great things about Joe Glenn. The guy can coach. http://www.cstv.com/auto_pdf/p_hotos/s_cho...ompleteGlennBio Either way, I think NU returns to greatness. (imo) Quote Link to comment

NPhusker
not bad but i would change a few things. Head Coach: Bo Pelini Offensive Coordinator/Quarterback coach: Shawn Watson Offensive Line Coach: Will Shields (or somebody that has ties with Pelini or UNL) Tight End Coach: Joe Rudolph Wide Receivers Coach: Ted Gilmore (or somebody that has ties with Pelini or UNL) Running Backs Coach: Tom Rathman Defensive Coordinator: Mike Stoops Defensive Line Coach: Buddy Wyatt (not his fault that D-line is inexperienced) Defensive Linebackers Coach: Scott Frost Defensive Safeties Coach: Bill Busch Defensive Cornerbacks Coach: Marvin Sanders I like Rathman as a running backs coach but he has no previous OC experience so i would like to see Watson and he would help with the transition. Will Shields and Ted Gilmore wouldnt be bad choices but i also cant think of any other canidates. Adam Carriker had some good things to say about Buddy Wyatt even though he only coached him for bowl practices, but i also cant think of anyone else to replace him. Scott Frost needs to stay on the defensive side of the ball cause he hasnt been a quarterback since he left NU 10 years ago. Busch is doing a great job recruiting and he is also the special teams coach which i think have been the bright spot of the 3 phases. I dont think our head coach needs to be coaching one specific position, he needs to be over seeing everything that is going on. So Marvin Sanders would be a great DB coach if he can get out of his contract with North Carolina. Quote Link to comment

(imo) Can't imagine Oz hiring anyone without giving Glenn a real hard look. He, without me knowing a ton about him, seems the type that would give Husker Nation a similar optomistic feeling Sadler gives NU hoops fans. With coaching ability to back it up. Just my opinion.
