walksalone
The Greatest Highlight, without a doubt, is Mike Eruzione's goal against the Russians. I'm a Husker fan, and I love my team, and we've got some amazing moments, but I'll never forget Al Michaels yelling "Do you believe in miracles". Still, one of the greatest games i've ever seen... Yes, I would agree that was one of the wonderful sporting events I ever seen. It was a time where the Olympics was Good vs Evil. You don't get the same kind of feeling in the Olympics, like you used to when it was the USA against USSR. Vinko Bogataj's ski-jump crash lives on with Wide World of Sports (March 21, 1970) Spanning the globe to bring you the constant variety of sport… the thrill of victory… and the agony of defeat… the human drama of athletic competition… this is ABC's Wide World of Sports! This is the one that everyone growing up in the 70's and 80's should know since it was shown every weekend as I was growing up. Quote Link to comment
808Husker in KCMO
Skateboarder Jake Brown tumbles out of sky at X Games (Aug. 2, 2007) Without a doubt, the most violent collision in non-motorized sports. Quote Link to comment

Huskerballz
What about Crouch's run from the 1 yard line to a touchdown against Missouri. He literally turned a safety into a touchdown. That was an amazing play. Quote Link to comment
