DJR313 Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 To get back what the stars actually mean, Rivals and Scout usually put how many stars they had on the picks in the draft and all-americans it will come out later probably, usually they are mostly 4 and 5 stars with occasional 3, and a few 2, 0 stars Last year's first round of the NFL draft was 80-90% comprised of 4* or better. Carriker and Gaines Adams were 2 of the guys that came from the lower recruiting ranks. Adams was a 1 * TE prospect by one service out of high school. Quote Link to comment

Obviously we have some pretty decent talent here now and next recruiting class will be better, but if we got only 3 star players with this class I think we could do pretty well.
