Darn, it was on rivals.com homepage and it's not any more...I've lost it. Hm...well, unless it gets up there again, all I can say is there were a lot of posts raving about Bowman, that he's recovered fully, and that he was onne of the standout performers for the West's day of practices.

Hope he does well. I think he would've had a pretty good year had he been 100%.

Don't know how much it would've helped though...

By they way... when is the Shrine game? Is it on TV?

Notes from the Tuesday practices:

They are going through 1-on-1 passing drills right now. Keller just smoked Zach Bowman on a hitch-and-go route to Todd Blythe. Bowman lost his footing when he bit on the hitch. After the pass, Keller was giving some friend trash talk to his former Nebraska teammate. Blythe has also caught an out pattern against Bowman's coverage.

Other than the throws to Blythe, Keller has struggled with his accuracy on shorter routes. He clearly has the arm strength, but his accuracy is not very impressive so far today. The wet weather may be a contributing factor toward some of these errant throws.

Wednesday updates:

They just wrapped up 11-on-11 work. Zach Bowman has disappeared from the practice field, which probably means he got banged up in the early portion of workouts.

Dennis Keyes and Dwight Lowery both picked off a pass in the final 11-on-11 reps. Keyes picked off Sam Keller and Lowery picked off a Josh Johnson deep ball.

Our guys are hearing Zach Bowman and Will Franklin are fighting hamstring injuries. They are hearing Franklin will not be playing in the game and likely will be replaced by New Mexico's Marcus Smith. Bowman's status for the game is more up in the air, but he was still hanging around the practice field despite his injury at the end of practice.

Bowman will do well in the pros....one of the bright spots the last few years.

Bowman was a great player but I disagree that he is going to do well in the pros. I'm not saying he doesn't have the talent to play but there has been a lot of NFL guy's worried about his knees. I agree, when you have had surgery on both your knees like he has you arn't going to stay healthy very long. Hopefully I'm wrong but I'm afraid I won't be. Sounds like he is already banged up just from practice for this game.

Bowman is helping his draft stock so far in EW shrine game practices, but injury concerns abound (esp. given that he tweaked his hamstring during practices)

Keller has been throwing interceptions left and right, it seems. Unfortunately it seems like he's not making the most of this opportunity.

Just reading some of the reports....I think I would be concerned about the injury issues also with Bowman, I am sorry to say. <_<
