  1. Voted! Altho I wish the vote was for PS3! Sold my Wii, hated the games.
  2. I would say Alabama v Georgia has a good chance for Gameday as well.
  3. Unfortunately I can't make it this year. Expecting my first child the day before the game, and don't think wife would appreciate me heading out of town the next day! Hopefully I can catch it on TV
  4. That's awesome, coaches are doing a great job closing up this class. We've been seeing that they can lock up some great defensive prospects, is good to see that they are getting the offense in as well. Balance balance balance!
  5. Agree. He is a piece to a puzzle. If we dont get him someone else will have to step up. I'd rather have extra pieces laying around when I finish my puzzle than not enough pieces and my puzzle look funny! haha! Had to stretch that analogy to it's limits!
  6. I agree with you Hanc. This guy looks like the classic mold. Stays in the system a few years, puts in the work, really shines towards end of his career. 3* now too, so people can't complain that we wasted a scholly on him!
  7. Bleh, by "solidified" did you mean "softened"? By chance? haha
  8. I agree this is a solid pick up. I hope to see many Gabbert picks thrown to this guy!
  9. This guy is visiting KState this weekend. What is going on with him!? And in reference to the couple posts going on above this: Nothing in the world is going to make someone ask more questions than telling them they don't want / need to know the rest of the story.
  10. Night or day doesn't matter to me, either way by the time it comes around I'll be getting night sweats from my Husker FBall withdrawals. However, what I really want is, to see the Spring Game be more than a 3 hour long full pad practice. I want to see the 1s v 1s of offense and defense. The last few spring games have been misleading in terms of where our team strengths were. Bring the heat! Bo Big Red
  11. I'm hoping that Keller can make a name for himself. He's one of those guys that you see develop in character and maturity right before you eyes and will always pull for. At least for me. Classy guy that I hope makes it.
  12. I agree. We saw some option towards the end there when Callahan was opening it up more. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the FB trap play. It was just so satisfying to see one of our hard nosed and hard working players get rewarded by ripping off a 20 - 30 yard run right up the gut. Really made me feel for a guy who spends 90% of his time taking the damage in front of our RB or absorbing a massive hit to protect the QB an extra 2 secs. Bring it back, Bo!
  13. I thought they looked great and wouldn't mind seeing them again on special occasions.
  14. He's saying if Lucky leaves that leaves the door open for C Glenn and Q Castille. Both of which ARE punishing backs, unlike Lucky.
  15. So you're saying there's a chance!? -Lloyd Christmas
  16. Callahan's lip smacking tick was annoying and embarrassing to watch on TV every week. I'm not a Callahan hater by any stretch, but that tick was just crazy!
  17. I'm just excited to see what some of these athletes can do with new defensive schemes. Plus, whatever offensive scheme is brought in, it can't be more complicated than what we run now. That means more athletes getting on the field and getting touches. I hope our new coach has the mindset of Urban Meyer, Pinkel, Zook, et al. Which is, if you've got an amazing athlete (Maclin, P. Harvin) find ways to get him the ball! Reverse, hand off, horizontal sideline pass, kick offs, punts, just get him the damn ball! I want to see Niles Paul and Prince A. running wild on defenses next year.
  18. The only issue I've had with Callahan's recruiting is that it is VERY offense oriented. It seems like we were consistently in the running for some defensive talent, but they always jumped ship to another school. Now I feel like we have RBs and WRs who can't get playing time, but on defense one guy goes down and suddenly a freshman is on the field. Where was the depth development for the D? When I look at the projections for next year's starters, I'm fully confident in all the people stepping in for the O. The D, I'm not sure if it's just the sticky memory of this years D, but I don't see any future stars!
  19. 1. Bo Pelini 2. Greg Schiano 3. Paul Johnson 4. Jim Grobe 5. Gary Patterson 6. Turner Gill
  20. I don't think the sellout record is in jeopardy at all. With all our records dropping like flies why would the fans make the choice to end the only record we control? That makes no sense to me. Want to assure that the Nebraska job becomes even MORE unattractive? Here's how: Take away the selling point that about best fans and best fan support in America. There are still lots of thing about the Nebraska HC job that are very attractive, big time tradition, state of the art facilities, big stadium, tons of fan support, in a big time conference with ties in to BCS Bowls. Yes there are more attractive jobs out there now, but we are from middle of the pack, at least now.
  21. I hope a few still come. Although some were clearly interested in Nebraska because of the staff (Gabbert, etc), some come for other reasons. Kuli recently committed and stated that he was confident Osborn would bring in someone to right the ship. So let's keep on bringing in the recruits and dazzle them with everything else we have to offer.
  22. I'd love a sig, if you have the time! Castille, Ganz, and Octo for me! I really appreciate it Edit: Don't want my user name in it, just "Nebraska"
