jjamuss Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 ALL OF THEM!! To me, all the games share equal importance and each one should be treated as if it is for all the marbles. Looking forward to "big time" opponents usually derails a game that should be won and can slip away if the focus isnt there... case in point, Oklahoma State. I think the team saw that game as an easy win because it was at home and lost focus by looking down the road to mizzou, kansas and Texas. I suppose road games should be a worry, but that is in the past... I think Bo will have a 100x better record than Bill, on the road. Is it safe to say Bill had the worst road record of any coach at Nebraska? I bet dollars to donuts he did. Quote Link to comment

I dont think Bill did that and it showed on the field. Play your best against one another... however, injuries could be an underlying factor that could undermine the overall goals of the team.
