Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
Well, I would, but my high ethical standards forbid it. I feel it's just not proper to use my staggering intellect to win contests over members when I'm an Admin on the Board. Holy sh#t. Funniest thing I've heard all day... thanks, AR. Cy the Cyclone
So far your combined intellect has managed to come up with 16 of the 22 Dutton Olds Kinney Dumler Tingelhoff Blahak Harper McDole Fischer Geddes McFarland Martin Nelson Wortman Ruud Jacobson ...along with one of the two UNO alums (Briscoe) That leaves six guys plus one UNO player. A couple of these guys were pretty high profile NFL players and they're still out there waiting to be recalled? And you all call yourself Husker fans.... Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
Monte Johnson - Raiders Dave Humm - Raiders Jeff Kinney Bills Bob Newton- Seattle Think Jacobson last year in the NFL was 75 Quote Link to comment
Cy the Cyclone
Monte Johnson - Raiders Dave Humm - Raiders Jeff Kinney Bills Bob Newton- Seattle Think Jacobson last year in the NFL was 75 Yah! Soooo close With the addition of Johnson Newton (He was actually with the Bears at that time) Humm to Dutton Olds Kinney Dumler Tingelhoff Blahak Harper McDole Fischer Geddes McFarland Martin Nelson Wortman Ruud Jacobson We have 19...only 3 to go. One hint...I believe one of the remaining three had a kid that played some pretty decent ball with the Huskers later on in the century...and no, it wasn't Ruud because he's already listed. Blackshirt316
Doug Dumler - Vikes Tony Davis - Bengals in the event that REDSTEEL's Bob Schmit answer is wrong, which I don't think he is, I'll throw out Steve Mondstedt - Skins - though I think he was out of the pros by than. The second UNO player HAS to be Phil Wise of the Jets. Quote Link to comment

The second UNO player HAS to be Phil Wise of the Jets. Schmidt was one of the remaining three and Phil Wise is the last UNO player. That leaves two former Huskers to be guessed. Mondstedt was gone, Dumler was already guessed and I'm not counting no stinkin rookie like Davis.... Quote Link to comment
