huskeraddict Posted April 17, 2008 Author Share Posted April 17, 2008 I just saw the official trailer. I'm impressed by a lot of things. Stadiums look awesome. Player models look vastly improved. Although the running animations may be a little "cartoony" as you said, it still looks better than when they were running stiff. Also, awesome to see the new stadium sounds thing. I'm glad I'll finally be able to add all the NU fight songs to play during first downs, touchdowns, etc. Return of Home Field Advantage and it's back with a vengeance. The awesome thing I saw was that the crowd noise was messing with the ability to view receiver routes. Cool to see mascots interacting with players on the field (Hope that isn't too overblown, though). Cheerleaders are back, too. Formation specific audibles, finally! Mascot Games, eh, could definitely be tossed, EA. It's fun once or twice, but after that, no one really uses it. Referees make are back after being absent last year, too. If this keeps up, I'll be happy in July. Quote Link to comment
Landlord Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 Man the running game looks cartoony... That's the biggest beef I have with this game, is that it doesn't look real in it's animations. The running animation was ridiculously horrible, the throwing animation (only one for every throw) looks like crap, etc. etc. Quote Link to comment
