huKSer
wel good thing Bo is young...we have about 30 years of domination coming Unless he pulls a Joe Paterno, then its 50+ years of domination + lots of Depends and Geritol Quote Link to comment
robsker
I think it all kind of depends on what we do this year. If we go 6-6 or around that area, we wont get much respect next year. If we go 8-4 we proably can get into the top 25 It also depends on how much the 2010 QB plays in 2009. If Lee/Witt/Spano --- whichever it is of the three --- ride the pine this year and come in as 2010 starter with little or no experience, well.... then do not expect a top 25 season. If the QB is seasoned, having played significantly in 2009, then there is a chance. Otherwise, likely no. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
The real question is how will Nebraska do in 2023 Quote Link to comment
Kruzu
The real question is how will Nebraska do in 2023 Considering that my son will be a Frosh I'd say the outlook is good Quote Link to comment
BOBELIEVER
the article is on the five traditonal powers that are "down" right now AH. Well, that explains everything. come on zoogies i wasn't typing to you I was responding to another poster who didn't get why USC and LSU weren't on the list Quote Link to comment
zoogs
No - I was actually confused. I didn't click through your link and was thinking, "Why the hell would anyone rank Nebraska in the top 5 in 2010?", as indicated by my first post in this thread. Sorry for the confusion Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Those scores are deviating quite a bit from each other...some aren't even remotely close. 25 and 2? Well, somebodys bound to be within 15 That's because some of the idiot sportswriters (oxymoron?) ranked the five teams 1 through 5 while the other idiots guessed the actual ranking compared to all teams. So.. the article is essentially worthless, like most guesses as to where a team will be 2 seasons from now. (P.S. - I doubt you could find anyone outside of Lincoln who would rank Nebraska #2 in the very near future) Yet all those writers are outside of Lincoln. Did any of them mention Missouri? zoogs
yeah, I'm sorry, I'm actually a bonehead a lot of the time...my bad So I guess in retrospect, those rankings aren't all that optimistic after all. Quote Link to comment
hack
i'm really looking for big things to happen around 2110 when our army cloned jason peters and cyborg bob devaney runs roughshod over the Big XXVIII. Quote Link to comment

They weren't supposed to rank Mizzou or for that matter say anything about them at all. And you probably won't find anyone inside Nebraska that would rank us that high. Quote Link to comment
