hoyamannn
FS: Josh Bullocks. No way Shanle beats him out. RCB: Grixby. I think Leon will be lucky to qualify, and the coaches already told him he'll get a shot at RB. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I think it might be CB- Grixby, Defrand CB-Bowman, SS-D.Bullocks, FS-Shanle Nickle-Defrand/Grixby, Jackson Quote Link to comment
oviedol55
I think it might be CB- Grixby, Defrand CB-Bowman, SS-D.Bullocks, FS-Shanle Nickle-Defrand/Grixby, Jackson Agreed. BTW hoyamannn, Josh declared to the pros early. But I definitely don't think that Daniel Bullocks will be beat out, especially not by Wilson. Dan was probably the most impressive of all our DBs last year, and played solid in 2003. Quote Link to comment

formerfan
I cant believe that Shanle would start, I mean he is one of the crappy walkons that cally is going to cut. Quote Link to comment

Says here that he was a scholarship athlete. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SP...1&Q_SEASON=2005 I believe the secondary will be: Bowman and Grixby at the corners Bullocks and Shanle at safeties L. Jackson, D. Defrand and Wilson to see a fair amount of playing time Quote Link to comment

DJR313
Further proof that you aren't always right, just like every other person on planet earth. Quote Link to comment

Defrand and Wilson to see a fair amount of playing time Agreed I really think that this will be the starting group Bullocks is a given Grixby has a ton of potential Bowman is highly touted Shanle faired well last season **Defrand can do the job, and played more and more at end of last season ** If Jackson qualifies, and accepts a move to the def., look for him to make noise early !!! , possibly giving Grixby a run at CB ** I am not sold on Wilson yet, but he may be a player Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
If Wilson doesn't play this year, he never will. Damn we are so young in the secondary. No doubt, whomever we bring in, teams are going to test the hell out of us. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt34
HAHA Oh yes the definitely are... hopefully the new guys have the talent and learn how to play against b12 receivers really fast, or we are gonna have to put up alot of points to win games. Quote Link to comment
oviedol55
Don't forget about Santino Panico, either. He's a very talented athlete and was chosen to play in the All-American game as a safety in high school, so I'd imagine he'll make the switch over to provide depth. And please, don't be like other ignorant Husker fans and judge him on punt returns. Quote Link to comment
