SwiftFan87
Barry Turner is telling teammates on the NU sideline that his injury is a fracture and that he's out for the year. The senior defensive end left the game in the first quarter. He's sitting on the bench with a boot on the lower portion of his left leg. Turner, a senior in his second season as a starter, is eligible for a medical redshirt this year. Looks like Pierre Allen, who has played well today, just got a lot more important to the Nebraska defense. http://omaha.com/index.php?u_page=3918&u_sid=10396039 Let's hope Pierre Allen keeps playing like he did today. HuskerJosh
Damn, that sucks. A thin Defensive Line further pared down. Not what we needed. Quote Link to comment

zoogs
Oh boy. That's tough for Turner. He was really excited and on his way to a good season. Let's hope he can return to form next year. Quote Link to comment
