Assessing the talent:

"Harris is a dangerous returner on special teams and displays great coverage skills at corner. He is tall, rangy and long but does lack good bulk and upper-body strength. Fluid pedal and turns. Shows excellent hips, foot-quickness and stop-start skill mirroring receivers in off-man. Understands the concepts of zone defense and will properly carry routes, level off and jump the immediate threat with good anticipation skills and burst. Initial recovery speed is good. Shows excellent deep ball skills as well properly positioning himself, timing his excellent jump and utilizing his long wing span and outstanding ball skills to break up passes. Major threat in the return game with his exceptional lateral quickness, sharp change-of-direction skill and outstanding openfield vision. While he can make defenders miss as well as anyone and possesses elite body control, he does lack great top-end speed and is more quick than fast. Recovery speed could be tested at the next level versus faster Division 1 receivers on vertical routes. Upper-body strength and size is a concern when trying to press and jam today's bigger college receivers. Could struggle defending the jump ball and battling for position. Non-existent in run support from the game films we viewed. Overall, Harris is a talented athlete with playmaker potential at the next level. The big question will be whether his savvy play and elite quickness can mask his lack of explosiveness and top-end speed."
