HuskerTrucker
It's easy. You had Solich apologists, and now you have Clownahan apologists. There just aren't nearly as many Clownahan apologists. No matter how you slice it, Clownahan inherited a top 20 team and turned it to $hit. Pelini inherited a nonbowl bound 5 win team with one of the worst defenses in D1. Big nose dive first year under Clownahan. We're going bowling more than likely under Pelini. If only TO would have been named AD after $Byrne left, we wouldn't be having these discussions. Very well put, Junior. I think we owe it to Bo to give him the time it takes to bring in his own recruits. Right now he is having to work with BC's, and they may have never been recruited here under any other HC. I think if Dr. Tom would have been AD, we would have stayed in house for a HC, but then I also believe that Solich wouldn't have been terminated as fast as he was, and may have had a little more guidance that would have helped him "survive" from Dr. Tom, but then Dr. Tom may not have been very tolerant of some of the off the field issues with Solich, either. Nobody will ever know. Gentlemen, it is what it is. We are who we are at this point, we have to deal with it, be supportive of the current HC and give him a chance. Quote Link to comment

We are who we are at this point, we have to deal with it, be supportive of the current HC and give him a chance. I think that is the important thing and all we can do at this point. The rest is for entertainment purposes only. Quote Link to comment

junior4949
I just like consistency in terms of coaching staff. Time will tell, but I think Michigan made a mistake of forcing Carr out. I think Miami made a mistake forcing Coker out. I think A&M made a mistake forcing Slocum out. And, now Tennessee forcing Fulmer out. Quote Link to comment
