Lincoln – The University of Nebraska and Texas Athletic Departments, along with ESPN, have announced that the start time of Friday night’s baseball opener between Nebraska and Texas from Hawks Field at Haymarket Park has been moved to 6 p.m. (CDT).

 

The game between the fourth-ranked Huskers and top-ranked Texas, which was originally set for a 6:30 p.m. start on ESPNU, will now be carried live nationally on ESPN2.

 

In addition to Friday’s national telecast, both Saturday and Sunday’s games will be carried live on ESPN with first pitches set for 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., respectively.
