Swift's dropped TD

Recommended Posts

It's eerie how close Swift/Ganz came to setting/tying a BUNCH of records/milestones:

Swift finished with 941 yards this year; record = Johnny Rodgers with 943 (1972)

Swift finished his career with 2476 yards; record = Johnny Rodgers with 2479 (1970-72)

Swift finished with 10 TD receptions this year; record = Johnny Rodgers with 11 (1972)

Ganz finished with 5468 career yards; 3rd all time = Tommie Frazier with 5476 (1992-1995)

Ganz finished the year with 25 TD passes; record = Zac Taylor with 26 (2006)

Ganz finished his career with 44 TD passes; record = Zac Taylor with 45 (2005-06)

I really like those two and wished they had come up with just that one extra pass...

Note that the Frazier one is actually TOTAL yards, not passing. Ganz absolutely blows Tommie away in passing yards.

You have to consider too that sacks count towards Joey's rushing yards. If they went by how the NFL keeps stats Joey would have the record.

I'm thinking that Mr. Cody Green might be breaking a couple of these records!! (I know I have way too high expectations)
