Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
Wish it would have been a little easier. It was just one of those days where none of our pitchers could find the strike zone. But still... that was an epic comeback. And I'm glad we did win. Although, Northern Colorado isn't a bad offensive team, (hitting over .300 as a team and averaging 8 runs a game) A loss would not have looked very good. Hopefully it's a little easier tomorrow. Nope we shouldn't have. The past two days we've really seen the inconsistency that comes with young and inexperienced pitchers. They pitch great for one inning it seams, and then it falls about after that... But our bats also had some opportunities today to put the game away early. Oh well. We need to forget about today and get ready for a tough Oklahoma series, in Norman. Quote Link to comment
redout22
Huskers: 14 NCU: 13 Huskers win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice job guys!!!!!!!!!! Great comeback. A lot of clutch hitting in that game I bet Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Too bad we lost that one today, really shouldn't have lost to them, but it happens. Get ready for OU boys!!!! :spooners Quote Link to comment
huskerswrkhavoc
shouldn't have lost... but it's not that big of a deal.. it's a midweek game.. if we would have lost both, then yea it'd be trouble... if we come out and take 2 of 3 against a VERY good OU club nobody will even bat an eye at this series... this series at OU is huge.. probably the biggest of the year, not joking. Just from a momentum factor, to prove we can win on the road, against a good team. OU can pitch and hit. Probably the only team in the big 12 that can claim that right now.... UT and A&M have had issues with the bats, and A&M in the pen.. OSU has had problems all over the board.. if we can win this series on the road watch out.... Quote Link to comment
